Seems like Lakers are out to send a message...anyway.

Awesome. Now we should start placing bets on the Miami streak :D

For me, 24. 'cause chances are Celtics could be The One.

A few minutes ago, DeAndre Jordan gave Brandon Knight (and every single Pistons fan) something they will remember all their lives. Yay.

I want to applaud his bravery but Ive got to say that is not a battle any PG should be in. He knows what Jordan is capable of.

@CP3 : I'm definitely gonna let @JCrossover and @blakegriffin32 finish......but @deandrejordan has the BEST DUNK of the year!!! (Kanye Voice)

Right now overtook Harrison Barnes in my mind for that. I wouldn't put Blake's alley in the top 3, the pass was more impressive in that one.

Also nice to see 18 straight for the Heat, Rockets' 22 game streak is going down.

Dunk of the Year and Alley-oop of the Year are in the bag, I'd say. Nasty.

Props to Brandon Knight for being the only one willing and aware to play defense.

People are saying that the DeAndre Jordan dunk was the best of the season. But it's not really any credits to DeAndre, but more to Brandon Knight for making the dunk look more flashy than it actually was.

But seriously, was that dunk better than the 2 alley-oops Bron performed on the Knicks game last week? Full court-runner. Also, the famous CP3 to Griffin dunk wasn't better than the DWade to Bron or Bron to DWade full court alley-oops performed this season.

Yes, I'd say DeAndre's dunk was genuinely that impressive. Give credit to Knight for challenging him of course, especially given the size difference, but the lob, the force of the dunk and the ability to finish the dunk that far from the basket while absorbing contact from a defender flying into him all make it a spectacular highlight.

I see where Woj is coming from, but I believe it's an overreaction. The RIP Knight stuff is basically just a pithy way of describing the impact on what was a very forceful dunk, the same way "breaking (someone's) ankles" is a colourful exaggeration to emphasise how effectively and impressively a dribbling move was in eluding a defender who is left stumbling or falling to the floor. It was a highlight play during an otherwise unremarkable game, something to be enjoyed. It's no sad sign of the times or indication of a backwards culture. If anything, it's a sad sign of the times as far as journalism goes, desperately trying to create a story out of nothing. I do like Woj's writing a lot of the time, but that sort of thing, along with completely changing his tune on a dime, is a bad habit of his.

As for Dirk...ouch. You don't see something like that too often.
