work off the current released roster. Literally I will be taking that one, adding names, and then be done with this part of the mod
johnbuckeyefan wrote:when is this named roster update going to be? I'll send you my files
As soon as I can upload once the REDitor is released.

it was made last year iirc, could be converted

i just made a separate install for this mod and a different settings.stg, this mod is really going to great, i dont know graphics, but stats/ratings im ok with, im knee deep in roster creation, for mlb the show, plus madden, ncaa, so if i can lead a hand, just shoot a pm. ty again, i looked up ncaa basketball & college hoops on amazon, they want a sillyyy.. amount of $ for those games, and this mod has already passed those up. its a blessing to have a cool pc modding community as this. keep it up fellas!

Next to impossible to assign shoes in-game without names. I do some assigning in Roster Editor, but some in-game, as well. I'll do player accessory edits and send back to you. I haven't checked, but it appears that the NCAA teams overwrote NBA teams, so in the Jerseys tab, is, for example, Kentucky listed as Lakers? If so, do you have a list for what teams overwrote what teams so I can figure out which teams get which Team Color edits, or is there a way for me to easily figure it out??

Will start working tomorrow. You'll be able to easily cut and paste what I do into the roster you release in Roster Editor? Just wanna make sure its as easy as possible.
I may shoot out a few PMs and see if anyone will help with some CFs or something. Good opportunity for guys to get experience without all the scrutiny

R4Zr's stuff looks great but the more help the merrier.
I'm also going to start working on a slider set to try and replicate the college game. Will need to be real short quarters to adjust for a 24 sec shot clock instead of 35 sec. I'll make it work though.

Looks fantastic. You're on a roll R4zoR. Courts look incredible.
Mon Mar 11, 2013 12:17 am
Has anybody asked the guys who have made draft classes if we can include their CFs in this mod??

Jao, the file worked perfectly, thank you. I tried editing a name in-game, however, and it screwed everything up. Tried putting Nerlens Noel's name in for his player on Kentucky, and a bunch of different players ended up with pieces of his name, and also is there a reason all of the fonts seem to have funky alignments and such? Would it be easier to just use 3 or 4 letter acronym for each team in all caps, instead of having some with partial names, some with full, etc.?
Maybe this is REDitor stuff, I have no idea. All I know is this mod is where I want to spend all of my time, because I think it will be more fun to play the game with than the NBA.
--
A global that replaced one of the sleeves with the Nike sleeve would be awesome (RussianKobe at NBA Spot did something similar), as well as if possible to edit the socks to remove NBA logo (or even play off of one of the Globals here, and turn an ankle wrap into a medium low Nike sock that can be set to Colors, with the trim always remaining white).
Gotta see if one of the Global makers here is interested in working on something like that.

that is indeed REDitor stuff, soon man, soom

Hey Jao, could I convert this roster over to the Xbox 360? I know about the art limitations but I would really like too release this to Xbox users.

Once it's released, I'll get a copy ASAP, cause I'm psyched to get this to work as best as possible.

CAN'T WAIT march madness is going to be amazing this year
Mon Mar 11, 2013 11:45 pm
Any of our resident talented jersey makers want to take a crack at the other Nike Hyper Elite Uniforms? Michigan State is the only one that's been previewed thus far.

Or the Nike Hyper Elite Platinum uniforms...

Or even the adidas adizero uniforms that are said to make their appearance in this year's tournament...

^ These might be the most absurd looking things of all-time. But still, they'd be fun to have in-game...

I made Kentucky, Duke, UConn and Syracuse from Nike Platinum for NCAA 2k12 only what it need is convert them to 2k13.

New Roster Update:
http://www.mediafire.com/?8dgr8rg7iv15h21Based on real stats, just copy and paste into Saves folder.
Also, Jao I figured out what the problem with the first roster was. For some reason, the TeamID in the roster editor was sometimes different than the TeamID for everything else (which is why Michigan State, Wisconsin, Creighton, Texas, Vanderbilt and Florida's rosters were all screwed up). I had to rearrange a bunch of stuff in the editor but everything is correct now. You will also want this new .txt file that goes with the new roster for the editor:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/?ek6r6usi7p59f99I simulated the season and Gonzaga won the whole thing, so nothing unreasonable. Try them out for yourself and please give me feedback. I don't know every college basketball player so the statistically formulated ratings should be a base that can be tweaked. Don't put too much bearing on the overall rating (even though they are pretty good) but look at the individual ratings and give feedback on that. Please don't just tell me that player x is only a 80 and should be a 95, I can't just change the overalls, I need some feedback on the individual ratings. Also, before you ask me to change a players ratings, please actually play with or against them and see if they play like they should. Keep in mind that tendencies are still in progress and I haven't assigned any signature skills.
Basically, the goal is to use the data-driven stats as a base and then community feedback to tweak the roster so we have a great one.
Enjoy! I'll post some ratings for those who can't get on the game right now.

Overall Ratings for Top Players (88+):
96 - Kelly Olynyk (Gonzaga)
93 - Anthony Bennett (UNLV), Jack Cooley (Notre Dame)
92 - Cody Zeller (Indiana), Victor Oladipo (Indiana), Gorgui Dieng (Louisville)
90 - Trey Burke (Michigan), Jeff Withey (Kansas), Richard Howell (N.C. State)
89 - Mason Plumlee (Duke), Michael Carter-Williams (Syracuse), Adrien Payne (Michigan State)
88 - Ryan Kelly (Duke), Nerlens Noel (Kentucky), Alex Oriakhi (Missouri), Reggie Bullock (North Carolina), Jared Bergren (Wisconsin)
The game seems to value quality big men more than guards for some reason

very awesome man, I'll be sure to use this as the base for the Names
