KD IV
Kobe VII
Kobe VIII
LJ IX
Replacing:KD IV, Kobe VII and Kobe VIII replace Nike Air Ultraflight (Low)
LJ IX replace LeBron IV (High)
Problems, questions and How to:1) Name of layer doesn't match the name of a editing part of shoe, but it's not a problem
2) Number of parts for editing of original shoe doesn't match with number of parts for replaced shoe, so some parts were merged or deleted
3) KD IV, Kobe VII and Kobe VIII replace Nike Air Ultraflight (because it only one Low shoe with full palitra of colors and had 8 parts for edit. If you know similar shoe for base - please write me via PM).
4) Copy KD IV files to main game folder, create a few of templates and save them. Then copy Kobe VII files, create a few of templates and save them too. Repeat the same steps for Kobe VIII. Now you can equip all this shoes for different players at same time (in My Shoes I had a 2 templates of KD IV, 3 templates of Kobe VII and a lot of templates of Kobe VIII).
5) Sometimes chosen materials for parts of editing shoe don't match with materials in created template. If somebody know this issue and know an answer - please write me via PM. If I can't solve this issue in few days - I will release shoe patch as is.

For people who asking "What is the template?"
rh1no wrote:You have full palitra of colors for some part of shoe. When you are standing on White color, press left - you'll see Black, press left again - you'll see
home/away color (as usually it are White for home and Black for away jerseys), and press left again - you'll see
Team color 1.
So creating Template using these two "colors" (left of Black) you can create one shoe for many players in different teams.
If team of some player using red as Team color 1, shoes will be with red parts. If team of different player using blue as Team color 1, shoes will be with blue parts.
And of course if in Association of MyPlayer modes players who are using this Template will be traded - the color of his shoes take the color of the new team.
2 examples:Beige color on Nike and white color on Under Armour - are 1st color after Black (home/away color). Blue color on Nike and green color on Under Armour - are 2nd color after Black (Team color 1)

That what I called a Template.

These are awesome. You're using Roster Editor to customize the colors? Are they overwriting their own default shoe #s?

Using RosterEditor - yes.
Overwriting their own default shoe #s? Yes, I think (if I understend your question

). Overwriting files in main game folder - yes, custom shoes (templates as I said) - do not overwriting something, they are saved to Saves folder

Your release will be files we dump into our main 2K13 directory, is what I mean. Sorry. Or do we put them into our Saves folder? Because my understanding is that there can sometimes be issues with the files in the Saves folder (or Shoes folder).

No, only to main game folder.

Ah sorry if I'm a little noobish about this, but what do you mean by create some templates? how will I do that?

How about Hyperdunks and Hyperfuse 2013

?

No, only to main game folder.
Beautiful.

Can't wait for these to be released. There's a serious lack of shoe patchers, so anything you're able to do is so welcome, as far as making them editable in Roster Editor. Thrilled for this.

rh1no, I've been making these templates as well, but I don't know how to make them overwrite original shoes in the game. They just end up as created 35XX shoe codes (example shoe # 3524, instead of replacing an existing shoe, say Nike shoe # 129, or whatever). How do you get them to overwrite the original Kobes, LJs, etc.?

bigh0rt wrote:How do you get them to overwrite the original Kobes, LJs, etc.?
Why you want to overwrite Kobes, LJs?
Original shoes - let them remain. I don't know how about others but I'm using my custom shoes for many players
You create templates of shoes as you see. Then you just using them.

Please release the kobe 7 and 8 !!
those are my two favorite shoes in the game
Tue Mar 05, 2013 10:41 pm
Wow these shoes look really nice!

Released
I can't find a solution for the problem "one material for all parts of shoe". I think it's 2K's bug
Thu Mar 07, 2013 7:18 pm
thanks sir !!
Thu Mar 07, 2013 11:50 pm
Pumped to check these out when I get home. What are the shoe codes for each of the releases? (e.g. Kobe VII 120, Kobe LJ IX 1114, etc.)
Also, what will you be doing next? Would love to see other shoes converted to RGB like the Jordan XII, etc. As I said previously, I can Edit the colors to make this happen, as you described, but don't know how to make it so that they aren't a 35XX shoe, and actually overwrite an original shoe in-game.
