exrxixxx, can you please release a v4 with the 'NBA on ESPN' just as a non-.exe, just the newscorebug.iff file?

Some PC lessons

Everytime you see any *.EXE file you have to understand this is archive file, same as rar or zip. Just an archive with addtiona options. The question is will you be able to extract it or not.

In our case ESPN exe file is the pure archive. Run installer, choose texture, extraxct it to your desired folder and you will have files that you reqyested.

That menas there will be be no additional releases regarding this as everything is included.

In case something is uclear please always ask.

When I directed file '10' to my 2K13 directory, it never asked me if I wanted to overwrite, so I wasn't sure if I had made a mistake. That was all. Wanted to be certain. Should I not get the pop-up asking me if I want to overwrite, like when I manually put files into my main directory?

This is because I said a rule for an archive to overwrite files without user's permision.

The HEX positions that were changed in previous versions didn't change, so I only copy that from the v3 and paste it in the v4. So, all the changes from v3 to v4 are also in the without logos version.

Sure, Always ask.
I am not creating custom scoreboards. Just trying to make them as close as possible to real appearance with the material we have.

Regarding possibilites... original team logo could be increased in size, but it will not look good if it will be outside of team ID box, therefore it will not occupy full box as in your example.

But as I said, I will not make it. This is not few touches, but a work for a full day at least.

Violation panel works like this.

1ST FOUL TEXT (yellow)
2ND FOULD TEXT (yellow)
3RD FOUL TEXT (white)

1ST FOULT TEXT- the name of the violation that you see for the first half (1/2) of total time THE violation panel is being displayed.
(out of bounds, shooting fould, kicked ball violation, etc)

2ND FOUL- player name or the same violation is switched on for the last half of time THE violation panel is being displayed.

3RF FOUL - white coloured text for seconf half.

Violation panels is visible for about 7 sec.

0-3.5 sec = 1st half
3.6-7 sec = 2nd half

For the second half 2 texts are being displayed in the same line

Grab the files manualy from your folder.

Sir, could you please fix this on your next update?

Move the violation text (yellow and white text) at the center, and add a colon in the violation text (yellow text) if possible.
Just like this "KICKED BALL VIOLATION: ROCKETS BALL"


Move the player name and stats at the center.


The other player stats is not center like this one. (You can see the difference at T-Mac's stats)

The team stats should be move to the left a little closer and the 2nd team name should be move to the top a little closer too.
(And the player name and stats also)

In this picture, I have no idea what team is shown on the rebounds.

What i mean to say is make all the panel in center to make it look beautiful!

For the third time at the same page I am writing that "violation text yellow" and "violation text white" are absolute independent texts, they do not belong one to each other.
Both of them operates in their own boxes. These boxes have fixed position and width.
I can't imagine how better it could be done.

EDIT. Re."colon". None of the text could be added or replaced in newscorebug.iff. There are no texts in this file at all. All texts are at some other files. Newscorebug.iff only includes links to the texts and we are moving links but not texts

Where to the center? It moght be a good idea and some readers ideas are included to the patch. But I do not get it where is center according to you.

I am not making videos.
Glad you understood you have to pick number from 1 to 12 to install scoreboard. After you pick the number press ENTER.
New table will open. Select your NBA2K13 directory and extract files in there.

Besides that C... Users...OnlineData.... can not include newscorebug.iff file. Delete it from there if you find it,
(This will work 100% if you are not connecting online with NBA2K13. If you go online, use KEEPMYMOD tool by Leftos or read for more advises in this or other thread, there plenty of them)

Original files will be overwritted, but normally people do not complain from where to get original newscorebug.iff, usualy they can not get rid of it.
Logo files (logo000.iff to logo031.iff) will be overwritted too. You may backup them or use Sixers85 TNT mode Logos http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88373

For me, this is the only thing that needs to be fixed. The other panels are looking perfect for me. Of course, there is room for improve but is nothing compare with the amount of work needed.

So, if can change that thing above, great. If not, just let it that way, and maybe start to fix the panels for the other scoreboards.

Yes. But now that you've overwritten your logos, you'll need to re-overwrite them with your original backed up files, or a different mod on the forums that replace logos.

what would be the best logo mod cause i didnt back them up
