Regarding slidout texts, thank you all who tried to help and sent pics here.

After evaluation of various subjects, I can say that manually edit slidout texts is mission impossible. I could give you a ton of explanations here but this does not hepl us.

So... at first I will try to release version where all stats fits nicely below the scoreboard, but all the letters will be narrowed. This is a trick which allows to have at least something. Later on maybe I'll be able to manage something better.

For FOX and NBA scoreboards these letters could be slightly wider as scoreboards are wider too.

What do you think? Is it still playable?

P.s. don't ask to move this to center

it look 100% done to me! :D ..the slideout stats is definitely more readable/realistic comparing to your previously release..in my opinion i say release it..(but that only if you feel it really ready for a release)...but other than that im completely satisfy with the result base on how the final segment of the scoreboard really looks...one question bro..do you plan on releasing all 3 scoreboards for fox network, espn and nba tv slideout update all together or are you going to release them? one at a time?

What I would do then is release what you have for ESPN and the like, and not spend too much time or effort. Since the right aligned ones should be easier to manage, I would spend my efforts on an updated TNT scoreboard with team logo colors, and working on all the violation, slideout, etc. panels to make a full TNT integration, if possible, since it is a major TV provider of NBA games.

So, each section have 40 bytes. For each section, the 5th group of 4 bytes is the x-position and the 6th group is the y-position. The Last group is the txt id.

In the position's group the 3rd byte is the percentage and the 4th byte is the proportion.

Now, I have and idea and a question.

The idea is to make a tool to change the position without have to think in percentage and proportion.

The question is if when a proportion ends, another starts. I mean the next to C3 FF is C4 FF. If not, than the next step is to find where are that proportions.

The only thing I'm sure right now is that we need time and a loot of testers to help.

"The question is if when a proportion ends, another starts."
This is incorrect. Proportion is not related by any means. The end of C2 is not a beggining of C3

But that is not the end.
This absolutely does not mean that if (as exmple) 7A C2 moves "PTS" or "FGS" to the end of the screen, then everything you move to 7A C2 will apeear on the same place.
Absolutely not. Every single object (or group of objects) has his own starting point from where calculation begins.
To visualize that... Player's 1st and 2nd names are linked to logo section - it has it's own starting point, Header section (Substitutes...) other and etc.
Even in the same group objects have different starting points.
So 7A C2 for "PTS" could mean right end of the screen, for "FGS"it could be middle screen.

If you could see a Violation panel on FOX, NBA or ESPN - I can't get Yellow text and white text nicelly in line even if I assigned the same proportion for vertical coordinates, it is still not good. Because there are diffrenent starting points. And it is impossible to compensate this "half of pixel"

Anyway... this is quire interesting, even without success it's quite attractive.
You may try.

For the beggining it is neccessary to find out what means text ID.

The very first two means:
22 c2 f8 49 - Medium title line 1 (maybe not medium, but definitely a title line, "player's first name")
f2 b8 58 e0 - MEdium title line 2

There are few groups of text.
"Small" when 2 stats are dispplayed I think
MEdium - 3 stats
Large - 4 stats

Therefore if you change position for small-group "PTS" it will work for all PTS with 2 stats

FOX, NBA TV, ESPN, CSN, maybe then I see TNT.

In America (can't speak for elsewhere), ESPN is King, with 3 nights of NBA live game coverage per week. TNT has a double-header every Thursday night on a national broadcast, and NBA TV I know have games on I think Saturday nights typically, and maybe sporadically on other days -- they do have a lot of replays of marquee matchups, as well. CSN I think only broadcasts games regionally, like Fox Sports Regional channels (I don't think the FOX Network ever has NBA on nationally), the same way the YES Network covers the Nets and MSG covers the Knicks.

So, I guess what really makes TNT a major broadcaster, in my eyes, despite just having 2 games each Thursday night, is the fact that it's nationally broadcast across the entire country with a high-profile pre and post-game show, etc. Of the scoreboards that are small and right-aligned, it's certainly the biggest, and bigger than the likes of CSN, YES, etc.

Do you know what are the 2 bytes before the position?

Did you find anything that can be the size of the box and the align in the box?

The box does not exist, because there are no verticles for it. It is imaginable.
Anyway, width of the "box" for every text is wrtten at other places, but this does not needed for you today. This was just info about various circumstances.

Fox sports is likely to pay 6 000 000 000 USD for LA Dodgers ( six billion). Just for a single team to get broadcasting rights for it's home games. IRegional channel?
In the same way they brodcasts NBA matches and this is a number one in NBA.

OK, than I'm going to edit the file and try to found something. You sayed that there are only 4 proportions. If that's the case, than there is nothing to do. We can put any text wherever we want. The only that can work is find more proportions.

Texts are witten in other files, you can't change text.
You are moving links to the text,

Sure, moving is not difficult thing. C3, C2, C1, C0 and 43, 42, 41, 40 can do the job.
"Protportion" is different what you learned at school.
C3 - this is binary, in decimal this is 194. Don't know how to say it correctly., but this is like distance from 3 dimensional center (not 2d), Proportion together percentage - this is how you need to think

Moving is not a problem. A problem is where you have moved and when will see this this pop up when testing (after 3 or 4 games? then make a slight tweak and again 3-4 games?) :)

Re: SCOREBOARD- FOX, ESPN, NBA TV

For me proportion was a sector in the scren where the text is placed, we can move the text in that sector but not away from that sector. That's why I thought in find another proportion (or sectors) that are in other position in the screen.

If that's not the case, then I don't get it.

The FOX company is massive and overhwelming. They have a family of channels, including FOX News, FOX Soccer, etc. The network, though, FOX (channel 5 here, like NBC, CBS, ABC) does not, to my knowledge, broadcast NBA games. They have regional affiliates, though, Fox Sports East, Fox Sports West, Fox Sports Etc., which I believe cover specific teams in different regions of the United States. Meaning Fox Sports West get broadcasts for West Coast teams only, Fox Sports East gets East Coast teams only, etc. TNT, on the otherhand, broadcasts national games, so that no matter where you live in the U.S., you get a 'major' game scheduled for that Thursday. The FOX company is much larger than TNT, because TNT is just one channel in the Turner corporation, which includes other cable channels like TBS, etc.

Either way, great stuff. (Y)

Best Scoreboards ever....be glad when you fix the TNT one where you can be more team matchups other than the knicks.

Re: SCOREBOARD- FOX, ESPN, NBA TV

Mile23, what resolution are you using in-game? A 4:3 resolution (such as 1280x1024, 1600x1200) always causes the scoreboards to go left.

Re: SCOREBOARD- FOX, ESPN, NBA TV

I use 1600x1200 .... Is it too small?

For those who have problems with resolutions I recomend to use HRC Resolution changer.
Download
    http://funk.eu/hrc/

This is MY EXPREIRENCE (it could work for you or could not)
After some research I found ouut that the games are always loaded to my desired 1280x800, but scoreboard is loaded "left orintated" (different resolution than the game) - I need to shake resolutions, therefore I hotkey to resolution 1280x768 and suddendly everthing starts to run Ok as I need (1280x800)

The cause for this is loading screens to the games.

Re: SCOREBOARD- FOX, ESPN, NBA TV

Fri Feb 08, 2013 10:04 pm

Mile23, it's not the size of the resolution. It's the aspect ratio. If the modder making the scoreboard is using a 16:9 aspect ration (1600x900, 1920x1080), then it's going to show up to the left in your 4:3 aspect resolution, because the scoreboards aren't made center-aligned, but right aligned.

16:9 means more horizontal space than 4:3. So when exrxixxx makes the scoreboard, say be 200 pixels from the right, then it shows up centered in 16:9 resolutions, but in your 4:3 resolution, there's not enough space to the left of that, so the scoreboard ends up being to the left. This is always going to be an issue. You have to sacrifice all aspect ratios that aren't the one you're going to favor. You'll have to either live with it, or switch to a 16:9 (widescreen) monitor.

exrxixxx, you might want to add this post to your first post as a FAQ, as I see a lot of people complaining about this, and it was a very common question with custom scoreboards even in 2K12.
