Some players take fewer shots (and get all open looks) whereas others take many shots (and much more difficult ones). Also, some players who have very few attempts at a certain range might have very high FG%.
I agree. We need a formula like this
(3pts made per game)[Value]+Season 3pt%= Rating
(0.1 to 0.3)20 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(0.4 to 0.7)39 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(0.8 to 1.1)41 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(1.2 to 1.7)43 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(1.7 to 2.0)45 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(2.1 to 2.4)47 + Season 3pt% = Rating
(2.5 up)49 + Season 3pt% = Rating
Ex.
Carmelo Anthony 2.6 3P36M, 41.3% 3PT FG
49 + 41.3 = 90
Ray Allen 2.5 3P36M, 43.9% 3PT FG
49 + 43.9 = 93
Lebron James 1.2 3P36M, 39.2% 3PT FG
43 + 39.2 = 81
Also, yes the alignment IS weird. I can't put it in any program. Can you send it to me in excel?
