NCAA 2K13 v2.0! Names, Finally!

Couple quick things:
1. I simulated a season and Indiana won the title (pretty good result as they were preseason #1 in real life)
2. Cody Zeller won player of the year and Nerlens Noel was defensive player of the year.

Overall pretty good stats and accuracy, however, I am going to adjust the rating formula to weight players based on how good their team is in real life, using each team's rpi and strength of schedule. For example, even though a player on Rhode island puts up the same numbers as a player from Duke in real life, it doesn't mean he should be as good as him in the game. Will put out an update soon.

Also, I need to finish reviewing each teams' tendencies (ie. shouldn't have a center bringing the ball up).

If you could please format them to the columns in the roster editor, I'll be glad to update...but I really dont want to redo all the formatting work again TBH.

in the interest of letting anyone jump off from where I was, here are all my spreadsheets (check the different sheets in each file)

The two big things I would ask you to look at would be the order of the players, and the rating/tendency name headers. Leftos' tool is awesome in that if I have an ID column and appropriate headers, I can paste the data in any format or sorting and it will import correctly. At any rate, I think the easiest way for you to visualize it is to simply copy out a row from his editor into excel, see how the players and teams are input, and rebuild based on that.

I'm working on converting cyberfaces from last year's game using the 3d mod tool. However, I just realized that unlike last year, this year the cf iff file has a hair texture. When I converted Mason Plumlee, he has dark hair. Is there anything I can do or do I have to find a player with blonde hair to convert him?



Edit: Figured it out, will post pics. What I did was find a player that didn't have an additional hair texture so it used the one already in the original cf file.

Will you try to make real NCAA courts, with their three point lane, not with the 7.24 ones?

Even if we did the game wouldn't recognize a college 3 as being worth 3 points. I may be wrong but I think this is the case, either way its like 3 feet so not that big of a difference.

I know that if you would shoot from the three point line, the game will recognize that as a 2 point shot. But it just look realistic. Not just the three point line, also the paint looks better.

Any way to create a separate directory and have NCAA 2K13 in one and NBA 2K13 in the other?? (Pardon my ignorance Jao, it's been awhile, but I know we were able to do this 6 years ago).

yep, a copy/paste works. but no need to do this with anything I make. This mod and any other I make are compatible with the base game and any other mods. Just load the roster for NCAA and the NCAA teams load up, go back to NBA rosters, and they work too.

hello everyone I am a new user I added the NCAA 2k13 patch according to the instructions and loaded the new roster but 'the game remains the same as before ...... where am I wrong? thanks sorry for the 'English school

if you loaded the NCAA roster, and everything stayed the same....then you didn't load the roster.

at the very least, if you load the roster and the art isnt there, then i can help you, but if you load the roster and nothing changed, you need to reinstall the roster from the 7z file and try again.

Leftos new roster editor allows us to insert Team Stats.
So now you can insert the overwritten team's 2011-2012 season data for a more "Official Game"
