March 2014 Summary



March saw the status quo maintained at the top of both conferences with Miami and Oklahoma City continuing their dominance.
Kevin Durant has put up phenomenal numbers in the last month. He only scored less than 30 points in one of his last fourteen games.
He managed eight games of 40 or more points, but his most spectacular effort was a career-high 82 points against the Kings in Sacramento.
That form has seen him take a very healthy lead in the scoring title race. He is also in strong contention to win his second MVP award.

I'd say a well-earned Player of the Month award, hopefully he can leapfrog Amar'e and Bosh for the MVP. Good to see your guys up there in the league leaders.

Not a surprise that none of my players are top rebounders. Maybe if Durant played more PF minutes he'd get more rebounds and have a better shot at the MVP.


If I make the finals again I really wouldn't mind facing any of the top 6 in the east. Particularly the stacked Knicks or Nets.

I must say I'm really surprised by this result. Stoudemire certainly didn't look like a player who's favourite to win the MVP this season.

That's because Durant showed who the real MVP is.
