What modes are you playing in NBA 2K13?

i know this question might have been asked a lot, but i want to hear from you about what you are doing in this game..
i mostly play mycareer, or just have quick exhibitions against my brother... besides that i dont know what i should do..
so whats your take

Mostly MyCAREER for me too, so far.

do u play basketball in real life too?? what about giving your player your real height? i made myself a bit taller so i can play SF like i do in real life

I used to play in the local junior leagues growing up, haven't played competitively in about ten years though. I do get together with friends for some pickup games from time to time.

I'm 6'3.5" in real life, so I rounded up my MyPlayer to 6'4". I was thinking of making him taller and perhaps trying a MyCAREER as a power forward or centre, but ultimately decided to give 6'4" and shooting guard another try. So far so good, I'm quite enjoying it.

2. i started an association that ill play as it is in the real life time.. i mean i simmed to today and gonna advance every day in the mode as the days advances in real life.. i think it will be fun

When I played in the junior leagues, I always started at centre but played a bit of everything through the course of the game. Positions don't come into play at all when I'm playing with friends these days, they're just social games and a lot of the friends I play with didn't play basketball growing up except perhaps at school, so we don't get that serious about it. Still fun to get out and have a run, though.

Traditionally I have been too, but I have gotten into My Player/MyCAREER more the past few years, for something a little different.

I'm somewhat enjoying MyCareer, I really dislike how heavy my player feels though. Other than that I'm playing pick-up games to test out ways to improve the game and at some point I'll start a fantasy association.

I mostly play exhibition games or practice (scrimmage) to get a feeling for certain teams I consider for association. Trimmed the list to 5 teams so far (Cats, Cavs, Bulls, Wolves and Wizzards) most likely taking the Cats. By the way Cats are so bad that even with '95-96 MJ on their roster they are still the 3rd worst team in the league.
I played some blacktop games too. Missed that mode in 2k12.

Which template did you choose for your player? I went with an all-around shooting guard which results in fairly average speed, quickness and jumping ratings for that position. There are definitely times when my player feels heavy as a result.
