No, the editor can't change the in-game imposed minimum, but allows you to add up to 18 players to a team.

RedPhazon8, the editor allows 18 players on all teams and 512 players in the FA pool.

Actually, if it can assign the floor and logo to the created teams,
it will be another version of Reditor and can handle almost all the things of mods .
Thanks for your amazing tool. :applaud:

also, is there a version where you write the number for the position and don't choose from drop down menu?

Alright, I'll download it and see if I can make some magic happen. For the record though if you get back to me before I figure it out. For the Roster I uploaded that roster file with the out of the box Classic Players in FA, how would I go about getting the Celeb Team and players on the Dream Team (like Barkley) who are not in classic teams you can touch to the FA Pool? On a side note since there's no way to manipulate the roster minimum I won't be able to move the players I had to use after the CAP ran out of spaces. Again, good work on the project.

BadWolf, no, the player's minutes in the rotation aren't implemented. As for numbers for position, you can paste them as numbers if you want, it'll work.

RedPhazon8, just find their IDs and add them to the FA pool. You can try moving players in the tool's Teams tab and leaving a team with less than 12 players, don't know what will happen. I guess it will work, but you may have trouble assigning/releasing/trading players in-game.

BadWolf, if you take a roster, change the minutes assigned for 2 players, then send Leftos both the original and modified roster, he might be able to implement it. That is how most of this stuff got added.
Opinions are my own.

I'll take a look once I resume work on Roster Editor. I'm taking a break right now.

Oh, and let me make one thing clear, PMing me about Roster Editor or any other of my tools won't get you an answer. These threads exist for a reason, and I won't be answering the same questions over and over in my inbox.

Leftos, I have a quick question. Sorry if this has been asked before, but is it possible (in future versions) to add jerseys to roster files? I like how last year we were able to apply different accessory/team colors to the same jerseys.

Example:

You could choose to have white, red, or blue accessories with the 76ers, each with their own individual jerseyID (using the same jersey file). Sorry if this sounds confusing.

Alright sounds easy enough, on the topic of the minimum if I attempted to go below it, it would only be affecting classic teams. Since I had to fulfill it on those teams to get their players to the FA Pool, there probably would be some sort of issue if I end up messing with them in the future but if I never touch them there shouldn't be any issues. Will only find out if I try so I'll see what happens.

Here are named dunk-packages. Unfortunately, no sight of the "exclusive level 10 Facebook" dunk packages Ronnie's been flipping out about. The Athletic Windmills off Two was the only one that wasn't selectable in my layout. Anything 66 and over just gives Historic Drexler in-game.

ex. Dunk = 99
Dunk Tendency = 100 etc.....

Alright, after messing around in game this is what I've found out with the Editor, you probably know this stuff already but I'd thought I'd share.

- Just to clear the air the Player IDs follow the Rotation Screen, I know in OP you said something similar but terminology wise I was confused at first. (i.e. 85-86 MJ starts at SF = his player ID is third on the player id list)
- I guess we have an answer now to people who ask if they can move players from the Dream Team, a lot of Barkley fans will be happy. :cheeky:

Good work on the Editor (Y)

not that hard to copy it into excel or open office then pasting it back in.

RowdyRondo, it does. Just use Find & Replace, in Find add PlayerID >= 0 and in Replace add the ratings and tendencies you want to change.

This will probably have to wait for REDitor but is there anyway the color values can be pre-setup with '#FF' that way we can easily copy and paste in values from last year's edits? Like with the team colors. If not, it's really no big deal.

No, I don't want to do that, because the Alpha values serve a purpose. You can easily add FF to your colors in Excel with
Code: Select all
=CONCATENATE("#FF";RIGHT(RC[-1];6))

This takes the cell to the left of the one you enter the formula in, removes the leading #, and adds a #FF at the start. So #FF32A0 becomes #FFFF32A0.

too involved

put #FF in the column to the left of the colors, copy the two columns into notepad, find/replace the "tab" with nothing, tadaaaa
