Knicks Jersey Update changed my modded jersey?

Hey guys.

The 2k released jersey update has made the jersey patch I downloaded from AMenace no longer work. Tried re-pasting it into the directory, but it still makes the 2k jerseys come up (which are still shitty) which leads me to believe that the 2k jerseys are now under a different file name.

Ideas?

That'd be because they're in the Online Data folder. Try deleting/renaming the files in Online Data folder or copying AMenace's files there.

Deleting or renaming the files in the Online Data folder doesn't help, the game reloads/downloads the same files again everytime you start up the game. We need that "keep my mods" program that was made for 2K12 in order to keep the mods we want.

Everything in the Download Folder is re-downloaded, I tested by putting another file in the folder and then exit the game and started it up again and the file is gone while everything in the folder is freshly downloaded from the 2K servers.

you can read-only one of the files in that folder and the game will cry and whine and not update/redownload/use that folder. Then you can use w/e you want in the main folder. You might want to copy over the updated roster.iff, newscorebug.iff and anything else you dont want to lose that was updated

Which file should we change to as a read-only file in the download folder?

Ya it works! I made tchinesefe.iff a read-only then unzipped the Knicks jersey in the download folder as well as in the NBA2K13 folder and now I see them everytime I start up the game.

I see in the Download folder that there's a file called newscorebug.iff (not sure what it does, possibly fix the scoreboard bug?), and when I made one of the files a read-only, that file disappears... So this can also disable some other patches other than art from 2K

Damn so it's a choice of either wanting to use custom Knicks jerseys or whatever mods that we prefer rather we prefer over the 2K art updates vs. possible gameplay, bug fixes by 2K

2K has yet to ADD something to the game, so far it is only overwriting files we have in the main directory. Hopefully by the time 2K adds something, and makes this copy/paste method obsolete, Leftos will have the keep my mod tool updated (which will be a pain in his ass in its own right).

So as a work around, I've renamed AMenace's away jersey as uxh014.iff, the Latin Nights jersey. I never use that jersey and it has an orange sweatband so I'm happy until there's a better fix.

So... we have new update for floors... I had good courts from dRosebulls and Amarowadee, now they gone ... shit. Staples Center from 2k update looks horrible
