Tuning court reflections

Is there a detailed tutorial on tuning court reflections anywhere? The one by johndoe is pretty vague :/.

Anyone?

Edit: It's been said that tuning reflections is the same as changing colors on a court. I must be missing something... Changing color values will also alter reflections?
