Classic Teams!

more than annything, this is what I want in NBA Live 2005. In Madden they have lots of classic teams, Yet in BA Live they have Never had them. I WANT CLASSIC TEAMS GOD DAMNIT! whos with me?

But in madden, they just had players with no names. Well, I guess we could patch them.

Classic teams are an extra that I'm sure most of us would love to see in the game, but it's another area where EA cannot win, mainly due to legal issues.
If they don't include classic teams, some people will be upset and say things like "Why can't they include the classic teams without using the player's real names? EA sucks!"
If they include classic teams using fake names and similar-but-not-quite-real cyberfaces, other people will say "Why bother including classic teams with all these generic players instead of the real ones? EA sucks!"

they should do it the madden way where the players look fairly similar to their real life counterparts and should give the same in-game option to change their names. But at least get the numbers right since Madden didn't even get half of the numbers right.

I like the idea, and it would cater to console users who don't have the luxury of DBF editing. But I'm sure there would still be people who wouldn't like it as the announcers would not use the real names, and would complain that EA made a half-hearted effort.
