.2k13 dual screen

.guys i need help with this one. here's the setup. i have dual-screen setup working. what i want is to play 2k13 (fullscreen or windowed will do) on my second monitor, while somebody is doing work on the first monitor. problem is when the game is running and when i clicked on the first monitor, game minimizes. zzz, thats it. any ideas?

It's a DirectX thing. Only a second video card would allow you to keep it maximized. You could run the game windowed and maximize it but I don't know if you would get the same performance out of the game when you click over to the second monitor.

.so you're saying its not possible with only one gpu?

.just a little curious, even in window mode i cant seem to play while working. the minimize problem still exist. u got any other way to do what i want?


edit: oh sorry, its not minimizing. what happens is that when i clicked outside 2k13(WINDOWED), controller wont work. it seems it loses focus on the game when you clock outside it. other programs aren't like that right? is there any way to make it work. sorry for the bother bro.

Yeah, that is something that can't be changed. I don't know odette is some kind of way to map an input to one screen only. Your stuck unless you get another card. Even then, I'm not sure if you will be able to use your mouse amd keyboard on the other monitor while the game is being played.

Ah I see that solved my dormant question. What if I have IGP on my motherboard also. If I enable my IGP along with my dedicated Video Card will I be able to use both monitors without the game minimizing?

Yes, but you might need to lock an input device to the other monitor.

UltraMon can also lock the mouse but only to the primary display. Since you can select which display to play 2K13 on, it might work as well.

.i'll try it soon, hope it works with only 1 gpu. haha
