Unlock PLAYER APPEARANCE to make it MEDIUM in Video Setting

Is there any possibility to unlock the Player Setting Appearance under the VIDEO SETTING?
in 2K13 there is just only two (2) option the LOW and HIGH Setting

i AM currently running in "Low" setting and I want it to change into MEDIUM setting because my computer can't run smoothly under the HIGH setting..its lagging..that's why my OPTION is to try for the MEDIUM Setting.

in NBA2K12 there is an option of MEDIUM setting..help me.. i just want to play in MEDIUM player Setting..is it possible?

Same with me, on high game play good for about 2 minutes and then start lagging for about 10 sec.

Medium in 2k12 = low in 2k13

Anyone tried editing the config file? Do the old player values 0,1,2 still correspond to high, medium, low?
