Must have mods?

Hello!

This is my first post, and Im very new to basketballgames. I have the PC Version, and would like to know what people are using and so on among other things.
Where do I start? Is there any way to get the self shadows work in the PC version? Any other mods?

Welcome to the Forum!

We're still in the early days of modding NBA 2K13, so there aren't really any "Best of..." lists or anything just yet. I'd certainly suggest giving JaoSming's Essential Updates thread in the Releases section a look, in addition to browsing some of the stickied threads and keeping an eye on the latest releases. High quality updates are already coming out.

Welcome to the forum, mate! Like Andrew said, this is still a very early stage for mods for 2K13, on account of the game only being out for like less than a week But if last year (and every year) is any indication, there will be lots of kickass mods in just about any area you care about. For now I'd suggest JaoSming's Streetball Mod in the Releases section. It basically gives you new street courts to play with, and it doesn't overwrite any original files, too.

For me the absolutly best and needed are those:
1.mvp latest gameplay mod - almost perfect speed of most moves in game better natural flow of the game ,better naural reel life look and gameplay.
2.thin legs mod .as far as those graphic updates go this one spot up player body models every year 2k mistake and making better court spacing ,and changing game presentation (players in move )most.

Oops, sorry, the Streetball mod isn't available yet for now, the one I saw was just a preview.
