Wow. PC users must be really low on 2k's priority list. Fucking annoying.

Echoes of NBA Live when it was effectively the only real bball game on the market.
Why try and appease PC users with the new features when there's no real competition? Consumers will buy it regardless because there's no alternative, so no biggie to 2K if we have to wait another year for some of the new features.

all the features removed are things my friends, brothers and myself would NEVER use. so 30 bucks for a game that runs/looks better plus mods for better faces later and blah blah. its hands down the best option for me.
i mean, even when 2k did have the 3 point contest and other shit in stadium we did it like, once? its pretty pointless, but whining about not being able to put close on your MyPlayer that doesnt even have to do with your MyCareer? pointless

I think it's the principle of the thing. When it comes down to it, we'd rather not be treated like second class citizens, regardless of the price.

idk, maybe it doesnt bother me as much cuz i do have the option for the console ver i guess but i mean, REALLY think about those features. most people would only really make use of the MyTeam and thats pretty much it.

Someone above mentioned 720p doesn't cut it. Actually, NBA 2k13 console version supports 1080p if your tv/monitor supports it.

I was kinda on the rail as far as whether or not I would get a console or PC version this time around, but ASW won me over. I still ended up buying the PC version anyways just to see how it would run. It actually is much smoother than the PC version of NBA 2k12. Both PC and console versions of NBA 2k13 are smooth. Cool thing about the PC version is you don't have to pay for accessories (but then again, you also don't get exclusive addidas accessories either).

I'm playing the console version mostly, but every now and then, I'll play on the PC version. Owning both versions gives you the best of both worlds. :D

Actually no the games native resolution for console is 720p. If your tv/monitor allows 1080p it just upscales the image or a number of tv's will just adjust their resolution automatically to match the hdmi signal so it is 720p while the game is running.

If you have an info button or similar on your tv you may notice that when a ps3 is on the tv's resolution is displayed as 1080p when you turn on the console but it changes once you start a game.
