I had a similar problem with the NBC mod I downloaded. Found the newscorebug file elsewhere. Maybe it's been updated though.

do you downloaded that scoreboard, if yes then you'll see that there is no newscorebug.iff, that's why asking name of scoreboard

the scoreboard is controlled by newscorebug.iff, however, these people just did a retexture, so you need to go through all those files and find NBC textures or replace them with your original files
