I've edited most of the player potentials. I even tinkered with team chemistry, staff, coach profiles, stadium names, stadium attendances, rivalry teams, and some other cool stuff. But i haven't updated the team rosters for a while and none of the offseason transactions are updated. I think last time i updated was some time between NBA trade deadline and playoffs...
If you still want it then PM me your email.

Just to let people know, i've started working on the 2012 draft class again. I'm going to make some of the key 2nd rounders aswell and actually complete this sucker. I'm not going to do many of the euros though, if any, because from what i've heard all of them are staying in europe anyway. BUT most of the key american prospects should be there.

Last version had 36 prospects, this one should have about 45+. I've already made 5 players. It should be finished/released by tonight or tomorrow night. (Y)

Nice! I'm really glad you decided to work on the 2012 draft class again! I still haven't started my new association yet and will love to use your draft class with CF's! (Y) (Y)

Hi there, great work, thanks for doing the real 2012 draft, I really appreciate it! Works great for my fantasy association. One thing I wanted to mention is that Tony Wroten has the wrong cyberface, png0065 is Myck Kabongo, can you change it up please? Thank you again. :)

when you will release the update?
i mean the 2012 draft updates?

Yep, there's a new CF for Wroten now.

Well i've finished 47 prospects which is AWESOME and it's ready to go, BUT i'm thinking i might try and include the full 60 (somehow copy the other 13 from UBR). I'm working on it now. It'll either be released in a couple of hour from now OR tomorrow, depending on how soon i can fix the error i keep getting when trying to copy+paste the other 13 prospects from UBR.

If anybody has experience with transferring players between roster files and draft class files then please PM me.

transferring from roster to draft class is not appropriate i think it..
its has desame properties.

Huh?

Re: [Nick] Fictional Draft Class 1.1 - WITH FACES - released

Thu Jul 26, 2012 8:20 pm

Well i decided not to use the players in HAWK23's roster because their ratings and details are COMPLETELY RANDOM. The only thing that's accurate is their name and college and height. Probably a few other things too, but the attributes, tendencies, jersey numbers, animations, etc etc, are all waaaaay off. So better off not having them.

Anyway i've released the final version of my 2012 draft class series. 47 players in total now. Enjoy.

COMPREHENSIVE 2012 DRAFT CLASS v3 -- WITH FACES
A draft class of the 2012 prospects. You won't find a 2012 draft class with as much internal detailing as this one anywhere. Period.

NEW IN V3:
- 11 new players
- CF's updated & added.

Edits include: attributes, animations, tendencies, potentials, capabilities, vitals, general, accessories, shoes (kinda), hotspots, hotzones, body types, etc.
The mod also includes cyberface patches for 43 players. Some of the players even include tattoos (only some).

PREVIEW:

I've been working on this project slowly for months, and it's taken me hours upon hours. Seriously, i've probably spent about 100+ hours researching, thinking, watching, editing, repeat. But I really wanted someone to make a comprehensive 2012 draft class where the prospects are made to look, play and feel like their real-life counterpart. So I just made it myself. I think i've achieved that. I hope you enjoy it!

Players included (47):

*2. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist png0058
*3. Bradley Beal - png0057
*4. Dion Waiters - png20079

No problem chaps. :) And just as a point of interest, if anyone's curious...

After hours/months of research on these guys, this is my true opinion of the future success of these prospects in the pros...

- Anthony Davis is obviously head and shoulders above all the other prospects this year, and everybody will really know about it in a few years. I see him becoming a superstar. We're talking about a future hall of famer here imo. 20ppg, 10rpg, 3bpg, 2 apg, in his prime?
- The expectations about MKG, Beal, seem in the right place to me. They'll be good starters one day with an outside shot at being all-star
- I know everyone thinks Cleveland did the wrong thing by reaching for Dion Waiters, but i see him becoming an all-star in the future for sure.
- I think Thomas Robinson will be a bust. Jordan Hill v2.
- Damian Lillard looks like he'll be a solid starter-quality PG in the league.
- I don't see Harrison Barnes being as good as everybody thinks. 3rd scoring option for his career.
- Andre Drummond will never be a star. He might be a solid starter though, but he's got a long way to go.
- Austin Rivers will be a bust in my mind. All he can really do is score, nothing else, which doesn't project "star" to me. His ceiling is a 6th man Jamal Crawford type in my mind. I would have rated his potential lower but i knew everybody would crack the shits. His mental capacity is wired for success though so maybe he will prove me wrong.
- Meyers Leonard = bust. Maybe a rotation regular in his prime.
- Jeremy Lamb should be a solid starter-quality SG in this league some day.
- John Henson is a safe pick. Not gonna be a star or anything but he'll definitely contribute.
- Tyler Zeller will be nothing special in my mind.
- Terrence Jones will be a steal for rockets at #18.
- Andrew Nicholson i think is a top 10 talent in this draft. I should've rated him higher. I think he'll be a good starter in the league. He's got the whole package for a PF.
- Evan Fournier i think will suprirse people and become an amazing player in a few years.
- Jared Sullinger is obviously a steal at #21. He'll be a solid starter in the league.
- Fab Melo will be nothing special.
- Tony Wroten has the tools to be a star, but needs to develop fundamental skills first. D-Leaguer with the potential at stardom if he works hard. Heaps of raw talent.
- Miles Plumlee will be a career bench warmer.
- Jeff Taylor will be a solid rotation regular in the league.
- Jae Crowder will surprise people i think. I see him becoming a starter in the league for sure. I would have rated him higher but he was getting drafted in the lottery in 2k12 with my true ratings.
- Draymond Green. Should be a productive role player. Nothing less, nothing more.
- Quincy Miller is a steal, but everybody knows that.
- Will Barton is another steal, who i think will be even better than Quincy. I see Barton as a future starter in the league, and maybe even an all-star. I would've rated him higher but i didn't want him getting drafted in the lottery in 2k12 in my patch.
- Tyshawn Taylor could be a steal if he can learn the art of being a point guard. It could go either way though.
- Doron Lamb, Kim English, Marcus Denmon... and maybe Johnson-Odom... all will be solid role players.
- Kris Joseph, Khris Middleton, Darius Miller, Quincy Acy, will not have long NBA careers.

^ Just my opinion.

I'm making a new version of Roster Merge which can import players from draft classes directly into matching players in a roster, so that I can copy your great rookies over the ones in my merged UBR + Albys roster.

Some things I've noticed:
- You've set PortraitIDs. Are those random, or are you basing them on some specific portrait pack?
- Arnett Moultrie is misspelled as Arnette Moultrie in your draft class (I noticed because Roster Merge couldn't find him in your draft class :P). He also lacks a cyberface, even though UBR has one for him.

I'm almost done with Roster Merge. Problem is Portrait IDs get overwritten, so I needed to get them back to those from the UBR pack, but it was a simple column copy-paste from my merged roster.

The new version will help those that want to have Nick's great rookies in their existing teams, rather than play a year to get them. Like I do. :P

Great! (Y) Go Ahead.

- The portraitIDs are random/generated.
- I didn't realise i spelt Arnett wrong, and i didn't realise there was a CF for him out there. Woops. :) Thanks for the heads up.

WOW!!! thnx for this Nick... your edits are legendary, and spot on.. :bowdown2:
now it's time for a new association.. :D
just so you'll know, i'm currently using 2 rosters.. one post playoff roster with my edits (D-League and stuff) that i'm using for association purposes, that's when your 2012 draft class will be used and your fictionals as well..
the other one I constantly update with latest transactions and also added your created rookies from your draft class.. i'm using this for quick games.. :D
to make it short, without your creations, i would have sticked with not so good rookies.. so a million thnx to you.. (Y) (Y)

btw, did you edit any of the previous players? or you just added the new ones?
i'm asking this so that i will know who to update in my roster...
and who's using "png20906"? there is one in your file but according to your list, there's no one using it..

nice... this is what i've been doing to my edited Albys roster.. though i manually inputted Nick's rookies in it..
but with your editor, this could make it more easy.. thnx for that.. is it out yet?

Yeah, latest version has this feature as well. I've put up a guide in the Releases subforum (this one and it's also in NLSC's front page) that tells you exactly what to do to get Nick's rookies edits in any roster that has the rookies already (like UBR).

I've read your guide and is sad to say that i'll be sticking doing manual edit... i don't have a paid reditor...
but good job anyway.. :D

I think i made minor edits to a couple of existing players, but nothing significant.

For example MKG attacks the basket a bit more and i changed his "Close - top" hotzone from neutral to hot, because his FG% was too low in game.

and who's using "png20906"? there is one in your file but according to your list, there's no one using it..

Quincy Acy. Sorry the list is wrong on that one.

And thanks for the kind comments!
