AudioID_M (Audio ID - Momentums) BUT there is no longer AudioID_Stories

What happened to that???? Please put that back in. I want to control the stories being told by commentators.

Also can you control audio stories for teams. For example Kevin Harlan and Kerr will talk about the Orlando Magic from last year, their record, how they shook up the team. If I want to make them the 03 Magic it be nice to disable team stories/commentary too.

1. Vlad, whenever an association file is opened, the draft class that is imported loses their names. First names, last names, and are often replaced by symbols.

2. When you Auto-generate rookies into an association file, and then you open that association file via EDITOR, there are 160 prospects generated and not 80 like there should only be.

3. When you open an association file after you have auto-generated the prospects, and then you attempt to overwrite those auto-generated players with real prospects, the game freezes in years 2 on NOV. 19.

Can you look into these issues please?

I'm afraid, these all are game bugs, which can be fixed only by 2K. The previous year game had some problems with handling rookies as well. Not sure about the third, issue, though: maybe it's just about a wrong edit being applied to your file.

Hey Vlad is there a way to see a player overall in your editor.

No, unfortunately, i don't posess the formula, which is used by the game to calculate it.

AudioID_S is now ASA_ID, as it turned out to control not only Audio Stories, but several other things as well.
Team stories... mmm... if my supposition is correct, it will be added.

I can verify this bug. No changes applied to the Team Stats tab are saved.

Confirmed. The new fixed version will be released tomorrow. Sorry, guys.

I'm not sure. You can try copying the whole Arena parameters over from another arena.

Question for Jao/Vlad or anyone else that would know. If I am working on a project and I only have 10 players on each team with NO free agent pool, is that grounds for the season mode to freeze upon me selecting a team?

A small heads-up: thanks to MLB 2K12, i found Peak Age Start and Peak Age End parameters for NBA 2K12 players. :D Though, a new version is unlikely to be released any time earlier, than mid-September.

Ok trying to get to the bottom of this arena camera/sounds crap. Heres what Ive done.

I assigned all the current Knicks arena details to the 99 Knicks arena details. The camera angle worked but I had the current Knicks floor and generic areana sounds. I tried changing the floor file to the 99 Knicks floor, now the camera goes back to generic. I thought hmmm ok maybe it has something to do with the floor file but seriously that doesn't make any sense. So I tried copying the 99 Knicks floor file (f221) renaming it to the current Knicks file (f14) and pasting it over the top to see if the current Knicks camera goes to generic. It doesn't which makes no sense at all.

Does anybody think they can figure it out? Seriously it makes no sense to me. I would even consider paying someone money for this hahaha!!

2phER, the Teams tab IS editable, as long as you pay for the license to edit it.

Thanks for answering all the questions I've had, and updating REDitor so quickly! I was able to fix the box scores. :D

Can anyone describe the new 'on-inbounds'? What does this do exactly?

Vlad, there's a mistake in your MyFriend Interfaces. In Player_Stats, TeamID1 denotes the team the player started the season with, and TeamID2 denotes the team he got traded to, if he got traded. So all players have a TeamID1, and those who got traded have their new team in TeamID2.

In the MyFriend Interfaces, it's explained wrong. MyFriend assumes that TeamID1 is always the current team, and that TeamID2 is the team the player started the season with if he got traded. But I've verified it isn't so.

Has anybody had any success with importing edited .CSV files??

REDitor 3.7.1 exports CSV's just fine, it also imports the CSV just fine if i leave it UNTOUCHED (i.e. export it then import it in again). It's the parts the involve editing the CSV's that i'm having trouble with.

I tried editing the CSV in Microsoft Excel, however when i load the CSV i get an error that says "file did not load properly" or something. At this point the file looks as if it has loaded perfectly fine so i go on editing, but then when i try to save the file in excel it says something about having to change the file type or something. Anyway long story short REDitor does not successfully import it after tampering with it in Excel it seems.

SO, then i downloaded a program that is dedicated especially for editing CSV's. It opens the CSV's that are exported out of REDitor just fine, and saves just fine, and then imports back into REDitor just fine. Success! However, then when i try to save the file in REDitor after i've imported, i get an error that says:

"" is not a valid integer value.

Then i push OK and nothing happens. So therefore i cannot saved my newly edited file.

Any way to successfully export, edit, then import CSV's?

(If you want to know, i am trying to copy+paste players from a roster file into a draft class.)

Excel should pretty much work just fine. You can also try the OpenOffice alternative, or even Google Docs. When it tells you it needs to change the file type, just ignore it and tell it to save as CSV either way.

As for the successfully edited CSV that REditor gives you trouble with, that message sounds like there's an empty cell where a number should be. Try looking for that one (should be ",," in the CSV). Or try pasting the CSV here in [code] tags or via PasteBin.com so that we can take a look at it (if you're worried about people stealing your work, PM me and/or Vlad the file, although Vlad is the one who'll be able to debug any REditor errors if there are any).

I haven't edited any CSVs by hand per se, but many of my tools edit the CSVs (NBA Stats Tracker, Roster Merge, Schedule Randomizer), and I've had no problem importing them back. But maybe Excel does mess up something in the CSV file.

Vlad, here's a suggestion. Can you try giving us cell position or at least row or column when such an error appears so that we know where to look for it? Should be pretty easy to code.

I've purchased the Reditor V 3.7

I'm making a mod,and I'm trying to let [NBA2k team] replace by [Dream one]

but when I open the roster file, the team column just can't be edit.

could any one tell me how to fix that?

By the way,I can't download filefront's file in Taiwan
may I have another site to download 3.7.1?

There seems to be a slight issue with animations and REDitor values (they are not aligned correctly).
For example if I edited a player's FT animation to Kev. Martin in REDitor and save the file, the game has it as something a few values away.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention.
