2.8 features the hex-edited Avengers Shadow Mod v2 by SeanJohn1414, as well as the latest progressive sweat by Michaelvlutz49

Don't have the time to grab screenshots, but if anyone wants to grab some and post them, be my guest.

Do not complain if the reflections on the skin are not that apparent from the start of the game. The sweat I'm using is progressive, and the effects should grow in intensity as the game goes on.

dont worry bro.. i tweak the values of sweat effect in global via hex to make it visible even in 1st quarter.. :D :D
here's some pics...

I really like your global & you know that. But I always wanted one thing included in them which was tatlo puyos Full Reflections and Hex Ball.

Why didn't you ever put them in your Global? They are really awesome in my opinion.

@seanjohn, that looks really cool. But maybe a tad bit dark? Could use a bit brightness, I think.

Do not judge brightness/darkness without first seeing it in your game. It could be an application or D3D specific gamma setting that SJ has applied to his computer that wouldn't show up on yours.

As for tatlopuyo's full reflections and hex ball, there were two issues:
- Tatlopuyo said he was randomly messing around with the values, and in the end had forgotten what he had changed exactly. Thus, his changes couldn't be applied to other globals without making his global your base (and I wouldn't bother to start the global from scratch), and his changes couldn't be tweaked.
- Per the above issue, since we couldn't tweak the values, we were left with his "full reflection" effect which made the floor almost lake-like as far as reflections go. Some liked it, but others (including me) thought it was too much. And with no idea as to what to change in order to lessen it but keep it there, I just decided to not use it.

Right. Well, I'm currently in between testing globals. Will try your 2.8 later. So, maybe then I would be able to give the shadow mod its proper judgement.

And I get what you say with the lake-like reflection. But as you can guess I'm of the first peoples group. It kinda feels fancy HD seeing the Jumbtron on the floor you know

Anyways, thanks again for the quick reply :)

Editing accessories' shape is beyond my knowledge. It requires 3D editing, which I have no experience in.

Just wondering if you are going to update the global with SJ's final shadow mod?

homicide1550, I have absolutely no time whatsoever for modding right now, as I'm in the middle of an exam period until mid-July. Besides, it's not up to me to update it. It's SJ's shadow mod, he knows what changes to make to each global. If you can get him to edit SCM 2.8 to include his BlackOps Shadow Mod, I'll be happy to release it.

Just grab 2.7 (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ona6zo9y86bqkik) and remove the shadow mod by using the Global Editor. 2.7 didn't have any separate hex edits, just your old v6 shadow mod.

2.8 didn't have any other updates besides your hex-edits and the latest progressive sweat.

SCM with Black-Ops Shadow Mod
http://www.mediafire.com/?yqbkse8fqzq74ks

This is a quick, temporary release. It's untested by me, just submitted by seanjohn, but it should be good to go. I don't have the time to go through all the hoopla of a regular release (repackaging, adding TNT logos), so this is it for now.

I'll be back when I have more time to do a proper release of this.

Just tested the global, tons of textures are not same with v2.8 so I just did it myself. But it was okay just as long as I have the latest hex edits from SJ.

homicide1550, when you say you did it yourself, do you mean you corrected the global to have both SJ's hex edits and the SCM textures? If so, mind uploading it and giving the people a link to try it out?

edge123184, I replied to you in SJ's thread. In short, you're wrong about the globals causing it.
