NBA Live 13: Gameplay Expectations

Moving on from my "What we know so far" recap, I've started a series of articles discussing what I'd like to see in NBA Live 13 and what I think might make the cut at this point. First up is gameplay:

With E3 right around the corner, I recently took a look at what we know so far about NBA Live 13. Now I’d like to move on to speculating on what we might see and discussing what I’d like to see in this year’s game, starting with gameplay. I’ll be posting my thoughts on Dynasty and other game modes, online features and more over the next few days as part of the lead up to E3.


Please give it a look, feel free to leave a comment and discuss your expectations here. (Y) What kind of stuff does the game need to be at least satisfactory? What do you think the game will realistically be able to achieve in terms of gameplay?

I want a smooth, authentic, realistic gameplay experience. Players should react fluid & organic as possible. Player models should be photorealistic.

What 22cedric said and a smart AI teamate in Become Legendary, aswell as a smart CPU one that changes to try and stop me in full team modes.

Somehow forgot to mention Freestyle Air (or a similar system). Hopefully we’ve got some control over whether we attempt a tip, putback or simply grab the rebound.
