crossovers

the crossovers in nba live 2005 needs to be more realler like it was in nba live 2003. guys like allen iverson and the other good dribbles who know how to dribble the ball good should be able to cross their opponents off the dribble. so the crossover needs to be like in real life nba.

Again, almost anyone can do a cross over. The difference is that is it effective or not. You gotta put your body to it for it to be really effective and ankle breaking.

You can't do crossovers with guys that have a bad dribbling rating in Live 2004. They just change the hands awkwardly...

It is quite good how it's done at the moment and I don't really look forward to improvement on this area.

Only thing I can think of is if the good dribblers would do some more flashy moves like taking it between their legs or behind the back and basically just have more effect with the move.

I wouldn't mind the ability to change the configuration of Freestyle control, ie. have a normal crossover as the default left/right move rather than dribbling between the legs. The crossover that each player uses would of course depend on their abilities.

One thing that bugged me is when I cross someone up and they go into the 'faked out' animation they always block me from going to the hoop then recover. The freestyle effectiveness hasn't done anything, it just makes that happen more.
