Well, you can try to replace Parsers.dll in the installation folder with the following file:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/21624813/Parsers.dll

If this doesn't help, please, send the error-causing files to REDitor@ya.ru

About TURK:
Please, attach the script. I'll take a look on it.

Thank you for your kind words, my friend.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of a duplicate player showiong up on two teams rosters? There is a player from the Knicks showing up on the Celtics roster screen and rotation. When i tried removing him in the rotation, my roster crashed the game when it loaded. When I put things back to normal, the roster loaded again but im stuck with this duplicate player!

There are several things you should do in order to get rid of the duplicate:
1) Remove him from the rotation, but make sure, there is no "-1" in the middle of the rotation after doing this. I mean, for example, if he is the 6th player and the team has 15 players, you should set 6th player ID to 15th player ID, then set 15th player ID to -1 to correctly remove him. Also don't forget to adjust PlNum column, substracting 1 from its value.
2) Replace the player on each Sitational of the team with another one, if he is there.

This should work the problem.

Or there is an easier way: go to the game, dismiss the player from one of the teams, then go to REDitor and set his IsFA field value to "0".

I tried both of these things. The first instruction did not work, that is what is causing the roster to not load. It only begins to work again when I put the clone player back in his spot. When I tried the 2nd instruction, he no longer shows up on his original teams roster, but the clone still he up on the teams roster, with the "FA" logo next to his CF

I still have the same problem with the new file, I installed an older version of REDitor (3.1.1) and I didn't have any problem, so I guess is a problem with the new version (I tryed with some different roster files and I didn't have any problem with 3.1.1 version, but with the latest REDitor I have the overriding_rotation mess up and later the access violation error with every roster file).

Well, basically, you should have dismissed the clonee, but not the original player. Also after the dismissal, don't forget to adjust his TeamIDs as well as setting IsFA to 0.

Or there is the easiest way:
1) Dismiss the player from his team via the game.
2) Go to REDitor, set his IsFA to 0
3) Repeat steps 1-2 for all the teams, the player was cloned to.
4) Set his IsFA to 1
5) So he is now a regular Free Agent without any clonees and can be assigned to any team via the game

OK, i've found and fixed the bug, thanks for your attentiveness. The bug takes place with versions, lower than Guru.
I'll release a hot-fix tomorrow (must go to bed now ;) ), sorry for the inconvinience.

Do you mean the "Invalid handle" message, when installing fonts? Just ignore it...

Well, if it happens only with one particular file, then i should say, the file was corrupted by unproper manual hex-editing... Try official files.

Please, try to remove Parsers.dll from the installation folder, then relaunch the program.

I also get this error (although mine doesn't have the 'C' on the end) when trying to open my personal updated roster file. But not for any other files. I haven't done any manual HEX editing. I only used previous versions of REDitor to edit it. All other roster files of mine open fine, except the one that i have edited the most in the past.

Note: I'm using 3.5... not 3.5.1

In your official page:
http://buy.red-mods.com/Comparison.htm#NBA2K12PC

Question regarding REDitor II copy/paste of player data

Postby vaporman87 on Mon Apr 30, 2012 11:58 pm

It's simple enough to copy player data from one .ros file to another if the need arises. The problem I've noticed is that, at least in the case of created players, the "copied" players lose all facial adjustments that were made to the "originals". Are these adjustments saved elsewhere?

You need to copy the players data from the Headshapes tab. You can find which record he is in that tab by looking at the HS_ID in the Players tab.

Question for you roster guru's out there... why after editing in or around 3 years in some random players go into scoring stats like 75.6 Points a game? all the numbers look fine tend and hotspots look normal nothing has changed what could cause such a problem? and these are guys i never even edited and were scoring stats with normal numbers like 14.5 Points a game the season previous.

Im baffled...

Every time I start a new Association, the Season 1 schedule is the same. I understand it uses ScheduleBase for the games. But would there be a way to extract the actual schedule from later seasons (once I reach them) to overwrite the Season 1 schedule and play a new Association with my opponents in different order than the usual Season 1 one?

Also, I encountered a really small bug. When picking absolute black with the color picker (hex 000000) the cell is set to null ("") instead of "000000" and when trying to save I get the error that "$ is not a valid integer value". Filling in the 000000 myself fixes that.
