@collision
sorry, yes, it is compatible in the sense that it runs.
but the setup of the roster (ie accessories of per player like rose) is different for albys. example, if i used alby's roster against his recommended "leftos moose" global (i think) you see the ankle brace and the calf thingy...
but if i replace the global with this, i get a different view.
anyhow, it's easy to change anyway...

As mike879 says, roster makers can work based on a specific global to make some players as realistic as possible. For example, if you use Albys' roster with a global that doesn't have Dmayne's special ankle brace + sock design that replaces the retro high striped sock, but uses the retro one instead, you'll find many current players are using a retro sock. This ruins the immersion for some.
In any case, you can contact a roster maker if your global has traction and some good comments on it, and I'm betting they'd be more than willing to reconfigure the roster to a global they love.
It's not that I ever asked Albys to do it, or that we have an exclusive deal of any sort. He just liked the accessories I had in my global (back then it was one of 3 superglobals available anyway) and the rest of the set-up, so he based his players' accessories on it.
That's what he's saying.
So it's not that rosters can be incompatible with globals, per se, just that some specific accessory choices can be different from roster to roster and by using different globals.

Agreed

@leftos amen.
im sticking to your global. thanks guys!

@mike879 i just misinterpret the way you asked about incompatibility of the global. sorry for that.
@Leftos so its a global base about doing such a great roster, now i know. anyway, I'm just new here so cant figured that out right after sharing such a global like yours bro, you have a nice global but the only thing i planned to mod my own global is because i just dont like the arm sleeves/arm pads that includes in your global and also the shadow mod. sorry to say this bro but i just dont really like the texture of it. Im not sure if its just me or something but the textures are messed up and not clean enough in my vision.

I know what you mean. Back when I made the global, the only accessories available were gory's back from 2k11, and I had no accessories editing experience to clean them up, nor were there any other textures to choose from. As I said, it's great to have more modders working on superglobals, gives the gamers more to choose from which is always a good thing. I'm guessing your sentiment regarding my accessories is one shared by other users as well, and they're glad your superglobal is around.
I'm just saying, if you want to get even more traction for your global (since I'm not really working on mine much anymore, due to the change in priorities what with the engineering diploma coming up and all), contact a roster author and recommend your global to them. Maybe you'll get them to work with your global as a base, which will be great both for you to get traction, as well as for the users, that will then have a more active global along with their favorite roster.

I have to admit I was underwhelmed with your v1, the darker players seemed to have a weird reddish hue to them in gameplay which put me off. I'll try your v3 though since I'm seeing so many people using your shadow mod now. It'll be hard to find a shadow mod I like more than the one I use right now, but I'll be back with my comments.

That's what I mean by getting traction, by the way.

You've managed to become very popular in barely 2 weeks with your work, so even after the initial disappointment, I'm willing to give your work another try.
Thank you for all your work, keep it up.

@
Leftos Thank you so much for the info about roster to superglobal compatibility bro. i know what to do now. again bro, thanks

@Leftos Thanks bro.. those values are adjusted by me from khowel24's Realistic shadow mod since michaelvluts49 updated his progressive sweat v5 because with khowel24's realistic shadow mod with progressive sweat v5 by michaelvluts there's a white thing popping out on player's shoulders. btw i cant see those reddish on black players on broadcast/gameplay view. gonna check it more now and try to adjust a little again.. Thanks again for the feedback about this shadow mod bro without this i will never know about the reddish thing.
And one more thing i found out that with the default muscles together with this midas shadow mod v1 is great on my view. give it a try bro.

I still haven't been satisfied with any shadow mod that has been put out. The problem is always with skin tone. I tried the latest by Kool'em and I'm pretty sure it has the midas shadow, and still I don't think it's accurate on the skin tone. The dark players are too dark, the D.Rose skin players have a weird skin tone, its darker and makes him look dirty. The white players still look too blue. So far the default 2k skin tone is the best.

man how come D.Rose looks dirty here?

the screenshot above is with midas v1 values, tell me how he looks dirty here. btw all those values didnt meant to stadium shadow mod, maybe your using a stadium shadow mod for you to say that he looks dirty there. i cant see him looks dirty from the screenshot bro really.

I'll take a look at it when I can. Can you post screens of a white player and a Richard Hamilton skin tone player.

Additionally, there is a difference from gameplay and taking a zoomed in screen shot from replay. I still believe if the default 2k skin tone can be kept that is the best route.
-I don't use stadium shadow ever.

Just tried it (v1.1 with HEX)! It's excellent! With your shadowmod skin types like Bynum's look just the right way - not too dark and black//not yellowish black!
Highly recommend to try it!

This has more standout shadow even on gameplay/broadcast view/beluba. This global has also the .dds cubemap_for_skin, face_wrinkle_regions the same as 2k11 global. Im not sure it really affects something and in my view it looks more better. Try it so you will know.
