I see potential tho. Perhaps with bit of practice...

It's always fun to see shots from beyond halfcourt drop. I'd still say this one from a few years back was Wade's best though:

An instant off.

Probably the play-that-didn't-count of the year. Amazing shot.

Whoops.

As usual, Ibaka gets in on the action:

Getting back to slick passes...
Also, gotta love the hustle here from Hayward:

Gordon Hayward

Yeah Gordon Hayward,...that was amazing. Much respect

Kevin Durant is pretty funny.
Meanwhile, a behind the scenes look at the Denver Nuggets' front office on trade deadline period... really interesting...

Thunder still managed to win despite the ref's best efforts.

Sketchy offensive foul and a pathetic technical call. I'm all for eliminating cheap shooting foul calls by penalising the offensive player for sticking their leg out but in that case I think a no-call would've been fine. The technical is weak, he did react but he didn't run at the referee and cut out the demonstration pretty quickly.

I watched that college dunk contest, it was like 10 times better than the NBA dunk comp.
Meanwhile, the women's dunk contest is laaaaame

Makes the NBA contest look awesome though. Even 2010.
Love this one from today, it reminds me of an old Bill Walton clip featured on one of the
Dazzling Dunks & Basketball Bloopers tapes from the late 80s.

Well worth watching:
And on the lighter side:

That bird + magic interview was cool. I ended up watching their doco after that, it was a really good look at NBA history. Especially all that stuff about how in the 70's everybody used to view the NBA as a bunch of black guys who did drugs etc. I never realised it was perceived like that.
Anyway, this is pretty interesting...
Pay attention to the Sacramento bench. You get the sense that they've been given a clear message - "operation tank", and they spoiled it by winning the game.
You can't help but wonder why players like Garcia couldn't atleast be happy for his teammate who hit the game winning shot. That club has a pretty poor culture if you ask me.

Those players don't realize that by tanking, they may be screwing their own future. Who is going to be traded or not re-signed when they get their lottery pick? Props to Thornton. I wonder what he was talking about with that Blazer player(Crawford?). It looks and kind of sounds like he said "I didn't know" or "I already know" or something like that.

Watch from 9:00.
Not that I am fully agreeing with Jalen but it's true that these two are way too rude and offensive in many regards. And it's also true that it's how Skip and Stephen made it to where they are today. So Jalen telling them that they are crossing the line basically was Jalen crossing Stephen's line, big time. Lmao.
But what's annoying the most for me was Stephen keeps being a classless dickhead trying to intervene throughout entire process. I like how Skip was actually respectful this time and how he was trying to reason with Jalen rather than being a loudmouth to get the point acrossed. As for Jalen, he asked for it and went too hard to make a point. Ofc, it backfired on him. Just my opinion from observation...

You gave out a serious opinion based on your observation means that you still listen seriously to those two (Skip, Stephen A. Smith) and yet you wonder why I call you out for being stupid at times.
Wed Apr 18, 2012 2:22 pm
I can't stand listening to skip and stephen "debate". It's all hype bullshit for ratings. It's annoying to listen to since they just talk over eachother all the time. I'd way rather listen to TNT with Barkley, Kenny and EJ (note the intentional disclusion of Shaq)
