No need for the points. Just play solid D. The points are just consolations, though it's really good to see him score in 20's again.

I agree with Stress Fracture ...
But, 8 points per game would not hurt right?
I think they need that 3rd option in their offense ... if Bryant is going to be doubled then the offense in the middle is stuck ..
He needs to create his own play ...
Remind you, he still has some hops ...

haha, i meant that Metta can play well just 1 time in about 20 games and we, Laker fans, get so excited... Really, the thing that got him going was his rivalry with Pierce. Everytime he faces him he seems to step his game and intensity up to a whole another level

Great finish by Bynum against the Celtics. With the Celtics' decline, the meetings are losing some of their shine as it seems highly unlikely that it's a possible Finals matchup this year, but so long as both teams are fairly competitive the history between them does make it kind of special.
Meanwhile, Kelly Dwyer suggests that the Lakers
should not make a trade. I'm not sure if I'd deem the roster championship-worthy as he does - if nothing else, they're not playing like it consistently - but given some of the deals that are supposedly on the table, passing on making a move for the moment isn't a bad idea.

Lamar Odom would be a great 6th man ... and a playmaker ...
But great win btw against the Grizz

Great win against the New Orleans Hornets! Another overtime?
Sure the NOH has the worst record in the west, and the Lakers are playing the Comeback Kings this season. Well, playing like one isnt gonna end up well in the long run. Just like the JAZZ last season.
Step up your game Lakers. No more overtime! You've already shown us you can win back games. Now show us you can dominate opposing teams with double digits. NO more party time. ITS NOW OR NEVER.

Don't like that trade. Fish should've retired as a Laker.
And why the hell trade for Jordan Hill...
Fri Mar 16, 2012 8:16 am
I dont like that trade either. Im gonna miss you D Fish.
Fri Mar 16, 2012 9:37 am
It's not that i like the trade, i just think he should have retired last or before last season. He clearly wasn't helping out the team this year. Fisher for Sessions, if u think about it is pretty good, and Jordan Hill might just surprise us
Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:42 am
Jordan Hill will just rot in the Lakers' bench.
Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:43 am
He'll get 30 starts a year playing behind Bynum.
Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:44 am
I hope so.

Good question.
Have another one. Any news on Rasheed Wallace?

Sessions playing well speed speed speed.
Gasol having problem defending Hornswoggle

The lakers this season look totally different to last season. Why, the offense that they are running is to blame. At least with the triangle offense the Lakers didn't need a great point guard, and it was great to watch, and worked. Now this season, I don't know what Mike Brown is running, but the early part of the season where the Lakers ran the solo play, where either gasol or bynum is posted up, with fisher, bryant, artest, goudelock ready for the 3 and the other post player who doesn't have the ball in the high post opposite, it's great to watch.
Here is what I mean:
It's a variation of the triangle offense, but so good to watch.

Sessions will add speed to the Lakers ...
Blake is now a starter. He has 6 assists.
Sessions, the back up, has 5 assists
11 assists from your points is not a bad stat.
Ramon has to lessen his turnovers though.
Once again, they blew the lead!!!

Perhaps Fisher will return, if the Rockets waive him before the 23rd.

I thought a traded player can't sign with his former team under the new CBA
