My game crashes everytime I go and edit players. How pathetic it is!

I have ps3 txt file too I checked it. I get to download the new roster but I can't save it, altough the download completed.And "reset roster" button doesn't work. I haven't yet checked which courts are corupted

corrupted courts should be the all star, pistons and raptors, the only courts updated this year by 2K

Also corrupted is whatever else 2K has updated, including the commentary.

Leftos, can you ask about the standings bug? Association is now unplayable because so many teams have incorrect records. Both the Celtics and Cavs, for example, show at 22-19. Cleveland is really 11-14 as determined by their home and away split records. Cleveland is 5th seed in the playoff race, but shouldn't even be in the top eight in the conference.

With this bug, there may as well be no standings.

I've asked them about the stats bug a lot of times. They won't answer. Feel free to send a message over at support.2k.com, although I wouldn't get my hopes up about this.

As for the standings bug, you can only hope Vlad Zola Jr. gets the X360 version of REditor done as quickly as possible so that we can dive into Team Stats digging for NBA Stats Tracker. Besides fixing the Team Stats via box scores, I'm going to try and dig those split stats in order to correct the team records.

Nope, 2K doesn't overwrite any files in the installation folder. As I said, the silent downloads go to %APPDATA%\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Online Data\downloads.

You can delete that folder and replace it with the latest proper one that Andrew has posted, and also make sure to not allow the game to connect to the internet.

Your mods will still be there.

Let's hope 2K doesn't release the PS3 patch on us "by accident" and corrupts our installations for good.

Is turning off NBA Today considered disconnecting from the net? I still want to play, I haven't played in a couple of days, so If I load the game will this _uckup occur? I don't want to screw up anything that hasn't been already.

no, I'm pretty sure the game will still connect and download the updates even if NBA Today is disabled.

I believe 2K has fixed this issue with the latest update. I'm not crashing anymore. I was able to edit players with no issues and I'm connected to NBA Today...

yep it's working now , i had issues whith shoes and courts yesterday , not anymore and i'm crossing my fingers for the update next week

Should I delete my online data or 2k auto-overwrite the ps3 files?

You should delete the online data for good measure, although even if you leave it there it will get overwritten.

You can either let the game get to the Home screen and leave it there for 10-15 minutes (it has to download 46MB of Online Data all over again), or just replace the corrupt/deleted Online Data folder with the latest proper one from Andrew's download (Official Roster and Online Data in the Releases subforum).

I had the internet access disabled for 2k12 and as soon as I saw you guys saying it's been fixed I enabled it and let it sync, but it didn't fix it for me. Still no commentary/courts/shoes etc.

i think servers are down because i cant see how many players are online on the main page , maybe that's why it's not working for you, when i launched the game earlier it was online, everything is working perfectly for me

I've downloaded it via 2k servers, but NBA Today doesn't work. Where can I enable it please?

Exit the game, delete your online data folder, start the game again, let it sync for 10-15 minutes. When the %APPDATA%\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Cache\patches folder disappears, the sync is done.
