Something else probably happened, or like last year, it is in the DD's hands and they are waiting to sync up a date or something.
With all the MLB 2K12 hype on his twitter, I'd be surprised if he mentions 2K12 PC again until the patch actually comes out. A patch that is just going to disappoint anyway.
PC patch got rejected by one of the DD's unfortunately. And can't release it until that's resolved so we're resubmitting shortly

The standings and playoff seeds are completely destroyed because of that. A team that is actually 10-14 is 5th seed in the playoff race because it's record shows as 22-19. Why can't they fix that?

The concept behind DD is supposedly quicker game availability, and cheaper games.
It's not cheaper in the long run because people who buy the DD version can't sell it used when they finish playing it.
DD's are delaying the patch not only for their customers, but for people who purchased box versions. DD is so slow it even delays non DD versions.

Freezes & Crashes (1st & 3rd quarter, win the finals, etc.)
Team Stats bug (incorrect Team Stats in any career mode, incorrect records in years 2 and later)
Trade Logic
"Speed Doesn't Matter" Issue
and many others.
I mean sure, the game has nice gameplay. But what good is that to me if I can't enjoy it over time? I'm an Association guy, I had reached Year 3 with 2K11, and now in 2K12, even if I do get past the 1st year, I have to endure stats like 90APG, 85RPG etc. showing up, and also teams with 120-75 records which ruin the standings and playoff and draft seeds. What good is that? Why should I put my money again on a game like that? I don't buy games that last me 10 hours, I buy games like 2K12 in which I put over 200 hours of gameplay. But if I have no incentive to keep playing, for example bringing my team back from the gutter and excelling in the Association, why put my money into that?
