I think the shooting system of ea is fine.

Maybe its a little hard 4 us especially in a superstar leve but thats why we love the game

We love it because its tough and this gives us room for improvements concerning our game ( shooting in particular).

to be honest, I like the current shooting system.
It think it's quite realistic becuase all you need in Shooting a ball (in real life and in game) is --- FEELLING.
When you feel that the routine is good, then it will probably drops to the basket (say 90%).

I like that feeling in playing NBA Live.

A power bar is a good idea but I would say it's better to see it act like an indicator ONLY.

I think the current system is using the similar way to determine the shoots but hiding the power bar to the users

I played NBA Live and Winning11 (PES) everyday so that I know what you mean, beside, I can say that the shooting systems are actually quite similar.

No meters... Then how much finger pointing would be done when you blew the last shot even if the meter said you'd do just fine.

The shooting has always had a pretty good feel to it in Live games. The most difficult transition was from 2000 to 2001 when they implemented the different jumping heights and thus players getting to the top spot on their jump at different times.

Spot on shooting is a whole other story though... It cannot be implemented with the current system.
