@Mrclutch hey was up man I'm the HipHopGamer I know you was wondering if I was a credible source or not and YES I AM. I've been in the industry for like 4 years now man doing press and breaking stories.

I broke the story about Kratos coming to Mortal Kombat, I broke the news about the Wii U, I was credited live on the bonus round Geoff Keighley show during E3 last year, I broke the news about insomniac games going multi-platform, also broke the news about Halo 1 HD Remake and more man.

If you have your doubts or don't believe me google what I said and you'll see for yourself and make sure to check the dates you'll see.

Also in terms of NBA Elite 13 yes I'm a little skeptical about the College collaboration but my friends over at EA was suggesting it as an answer to the whole Jordan and legendary scheme of marketing to compete against 2K, so we will see.

Everything else about the presentation and features appears to be intact so i can't wait to see it my self man this should be great.

If something doesn't turn out like I said then i'm sorry but I report what I hear and I'm usually right not all the time, you know I make mistakes too but i've been spot on, on alot of things in the industry before everyone else.

I can't see them putting NCAA in NBA game. NBA surely wouldn't allow that. Would be great if they did, as it would become almost a must buy.

Obviously NCAA games will never have named players. Can't happen.

The NBA might allow it, but the biggest roadbloack is the international licensing rights for college sports. That's what's kept all NCAA games from being international releases in the past, if there's any truth to the rumour then that's obviously no longer an issue. It'd be fantastic if it happens but it's something to take with a grain of salt for sure.

I'm skeptical about techs because the NBA is very much against them but like the NCAA stuff, let's wait and see. I wouldn't hold my breath but that'd certainly bring emotion, atmosphere and realism to the game.

Everything else is sounding pretty good. If the player performance and strategy is realistic, the animations and physics up to scratch, attention is paid to improving Dynasty Mode, online is stable and those other little touches are included, it'll be a strong comeback year for EA. Better than NBA 2K13? I don't know about that, that's setting the bar a little high, but a respectable effort that is leaps and bounds ahead of some of their own recent releases certainly seems feasible to me. Here's hoping.

It could be a special 2 disc release, where in the NA only you get both games and they can package NBA Elite 13 like normal internationally.

Fair point. For a 360 user for myself, all the more reason to hope for a PC release that I can import.

Not sure how much of this is true yet but a few things if true sound very cool in going in the right direction.

I wonder how much of an embargo he broke with this news....again if its all legit and happening.

He's legit and well connected, so seems there's certainly a chance of it coming to fruition. The only things that really stand out as possibly being unfeasible are the NCAA integration (due to issues with international licensing rights and possible objections from the NBA) and inclusion of taunting and technicals (because the NBA traditionally won't allow them, the pointing in those early NBA Lives aside).

Well...word from EA is that this is totally inaccurate. We'll probably start receiving info in the not too distant future, but apparently there's nothing to this.

All of it. No info has been revealed or confirmed at this time, except that the game will be coming out this Fall. Even the name is yet to be announced, with Elite probably out of the running (and rightfully so).

I have it straight from EA that it's inaccurate. However, I'm guessing they will actually be looking to improve the physics and animations, as well as the audio presentation. If nothing else, those are probably solid predictions of what they'll be trying to do at least.

EA is supposed to say it's inaccurate because they have to make an official statement!! But I believe he had discussions with somebody over at EA with this information LOL. Either way, I'm getting excited to see what this game is about!!

I never actually watched the entire video until now. I am starting to believe it a bit because the community group talked about a couple of those ideas at the Elite 11 community day.

Nope. He's clarified on Twitter that he was discussing rumours in the video; unfortunately it came across as more of a scoop.
