Apparently, when forcing mods and then getting into a game, the game does another pre-game Online Data check that I wasn't able to detect, nor am I able to go around it. That means that if you force your mods, you're going to miss out on every other update 2K has done, since the game doesn't use the Online Data files, but the ones in your installation folder.
I don't know if copying the Online Data into the retail folder will do any good, nor am I willing to risk corrupting my or your installation.
So right now, if you want to use your modded Pistons or Raptors court, you'll have to do without any of the new shoes and the patched audio.
2K is being really stubborn about forcing its updates. We should be able to mix and match its updates and our mods, but apparently it isn't possible.
If any of you tries copying the new shoes into the installation folder and that works, tell me, and I'll make the tool copy 2K's updates to the game folder.
IMPORTANT: There is a workaround, but it's more of a hack than anything. If you want to keep the Pistons and Raptors courts modded, assign them a free stadium ID in REditor, and copy your mods and rename them to that ID. If you're into your Association, you'll need a paid license for REditor.
