rahzel is black.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd replace all the songs to stuff by Talib, Mos Def, Nas, but hey, only 10% of my gaming time is spent at menus listening to the songs.

In 2005 I'd like them to have the best rappers to the likes of Sean Paul, Nelly, 50 cents, Chingy, R Kelly, Usher.

^^Best rappers :D

Since when are R. Kelly and Usher rappers?

I'd like to see Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and others. Hopefully outkast again.

They always let us down. So I would assume this year they would include Elvis Presley, The Beathes, Michael Jackson, The beastie boys, Prince, and all kind of oldies to NBA Live 05.

Way to go EA. You guys are amazing!

Thank you.

qballer wrote:I think it all depends on the preference of the game's target audience. Most of the NBA's audience is black (hence, the heavy rap influence on the game's soundtrack). I am Asian and I enjoy some of the rap songs (Outkast, Chingy, Twista, Sean Paul, and the Peas were good this year). But some of the lesser-known artists are good (like Dilated Peoples). I think it has a good balance. I think some people like Homer prefer Madden's music because there is less rap, with people like Blink 182 and Good Charlotte.

Hey beau boy, I don't think that would go too well with most of the people that watch the NBA and/or those that play NBA Live... I think it would be pretty cool to have the oldies, but I feel it wouldn't goover too well with the people that play the game. I have a strange feeling that the Black Eyed Peas song "Let's get it started" on the ABC commercials might make it into Live 2005.

i think the best music is from nba live 2000. the music from the introduction video is awesome and i love the music of george clinton and his mothership connection. nba live 2004 is too much hip hop and they give no room for good funk. i'd love to hear more of george clinton's music and some of james brown too.

Hell yeah, 2000 was awesome, I was stoked to hear George Clinton and Parlaiment on there. James Brown, that would be nice. Classic funk with a good mix of hip hop would be good.

Dialated Peoples was great, maybe some J5, Pharoahe Monch, or Even some ugly Duckling or old beastie boys to get some good white guys in there.

There is a possibility of oldies because NBA Street Vol 2 had old songs like "Chief Rocka" and "They Reminisce over you (T.R.O.Y)"

I don't know about rock. I think rock fits football better. Madden ahs like 30 rock tracks. There's just something about basketball and hip-hop.

One of my favorite songs from and EA sports game is the Madden 2000 intro them by Ludacris. I love that song...

Man get out my way and watch out as I come THROUGH!
Bustin in your line crackin helmets in TWO!
I bring the pain so what you gon' DO!
Stand there and just get shook out your SHOES!
So clean out your locker cause Im out to get ya
Cause I just stopped ya you cant take the pressure
You might as well quit cause you just cant last
Madden 2-Thou put your face in the grass
And your pride in the dirt, so put on a skirt
If you come on the field and don't wanna get hurt
Just bruised and beaten, all black and blue
And it's been like that since Madden '92...

and i could keep going :D
Classic song

More songs, or better yet, make your own

Postby guitarlearner on Thu Jun 17, 2004 8:35 pm

I can't believe 'One Call Away' (Chingy) & 'Ain't It Funny' & 'I'm Real' remixes with J.Lo & Ja Rule are not in the Track list.

The new 'Right Thurr' mix is all good, but have you guys seen that MTV for 'One Call Away'? That fancy as dribbling sequence is absolutely SWEEEEEEEEET! I now play that song on my walkman while I practice my dribbling moves. And I play Ain't It Funny' & 'I'm Real' remixes to work on my footwork & rhythm... and learn to dance at the same time.
