Talk about NBA 2K12 here.

Well you know, there more options the better. Maybe u want to play with a player who is older and dont want his stats do go down as he gets older but start off like 5 years younger or so..like Ray Allen

It'd be nice to have the option but it's likely just not very high on the list of priorities, which truth be told is a fair call. There are more pressing issues that needed to be addressed first and judging by fan opinion so far, some of those fell by the wayside anyway.

I'm on PC (NBA 2k12) so unfortunately I have to wait for the PC patch.
I've both 2K11 and 2K12 installed on my home PC.
I still enjoy 2k11 (post patch) more for few reason:
1) Passing game in 2k11 is almoust perfect while in 2k12 is too slow
2) Physical plays / Contact animation in 2k11 are nicely done
3) Double teams / defense play really a challenging game in 2k11
Does the 1.04 patch make 2k12 a better game than 2k11 post patch??
Thanks in advance for response
Regards

Just a fast question to all of you console users enjoying all these updates :
Did they fix the TEAM STATS during a season or association ??

It isn't among the list of fixes, which you can check out in the first post of this thread. If it's not on that list, it hasn't been touched. That means unless there's another patch coming, stats issues are unfortunately going to have to wait until next year.

I hope u dont mean that we have to wait till nba2k13 , lets hope for a next patch maybe? Do you know anything more on this issue ? Like if ronnie said anything about it ?
Too bad for all of us playing OFFLINE trying our ass off to get realistic gameplay/stats.

Yes, that's what I mean. It's not among the list of fixes and it hasn't been mentioned by anyone at 2K as far as I can recall, so unless there's another patching coming after 1.04 it'll be something for NBA 2K13.

Any news regarding pc release?
Wed Jan 11, 2012 8:50 pm
Nope, not yet.

Are they seriously not going to do a 1.04 patch for the PC version?
I'm a console gamer who switched to PC gaming and built a computer and this year bought NBA 2k12 on PC and now 2k decides not to support PC gamers anymore?

the 2k10 and 2k11 patches came months later than the console ones. So they have another month or two to catch up.
Just don't be surprised when the update does come that the "last modified date" was the console patch date. That's what happened last year.
Fri Jan 13, 2012 7:09 am
Does that mean they are done with it during those time and just decided to release it after months?

they do have to coordinate between their DVD release, the Steam release and other digital distribution sites for a single release date so they can update the servers at the same time. As seen with 2k10, if one DD releases the patch first, then the people with the patch cannot get online, and then if some people on steam or wherever do not have the patch but the server is patched, then its the same issue.
It's just a crappy situation, and is evidently the cause of the long delay.

I understand what you are saying and didn't really think about that before.
Sounds like we will get the patch just in due time. Can you estimate about the time we will get a patch?

before April, that is as safe of a guess I am willing to make.

Late January/early February would probably be the most optimistic scenario. Seems Ronnie is just ignoring any questions about it at the moment, not even a courteous "sorry, no new info" kind of response.
Sun Jan 15, 2012 4:21 am
Just release the patches staggered, as they're finished. Most people haven't been able to go online since day 1 anyways (me)....

sign up for a new account and re-enter your CD Key. You'll be able to get online.
If you want to get your original username back, you can sign into the NBA2K.com site and delete your user.

So we can for sure know our PC NBA 2k12 will be patched?
Tue Jan 17, 2012 1:38 pm
eventually, yes

Almost February. Possibly any news?

Not apart from the note from Ronnie the other day, which does not include any specific dates.

Well I am glad to hear they will release one. I love this game on PC. So much better than playing on the slow consoles.
Tue Feb 14, 2012 12:34 pm
Still haven't heard anything.
Tue Feb 14, 2012 5:35 pm
That's because they haven't said anything further.
