HELP: Can't download/save new Roster Update (2012-01-20)

Hi,

I can't save the new official roster, I can download it via 2k share but when it asks me to enter the save name it just won't save it. I already tried to overwrite an older roster save but now this file is completely gone, there is no old roster and no new one. I already found out that I can download and save any uploaded file BUT the official 2k rosters. Can you help me out here??

goto options, reset roster, then check to see if you got the update (it should work)

I just reinstalled the game, it's still not working. When the games asks me for the name for the roster file, I press start and instead of saving the roster file I get back to the screen where I see my other roster files. This is so annoying -.-

dont bother with the 2Kshare stuff. Load the game, wait maybe 5 minutes for it to download all of the updates, then simply goto options, reset roster, and you will have the updated roster

then goto options, load/save, and save it.

Hm my game never downloaded anything from its own. Might be because 2k doesn't support the PC version :/

LOOOL I just resetted my roster for like the 10th time and now I have the new roster oO strange, but awesome

In theory, one reset should do the trick but I've sometimes found I've needed to reset the rosters a couple of times to get them to show up. Glad to hear you got it working eventually.

I guess it was because I had some issues with the language. Since I'm from Germany, I installed it in german, then switched to english. So I had the German Kader.ros, Live Kader.ros and NBA Aktuell.ros files AND the english roster.ros, Living Roster.ros and NBA Today.ros. I reinstalled it in english, so the german files were gone. Maybe the update had problems with the differen roster files.

But now I have the problem, that my game crashes after every game in My Player that I played with an older save from before the roster update. It never crashed before. Anyone knows this issue?

You generally seem to need two, at least for me, the first reset goes back to the default rosters the game shipped with, then the second one loads the newest roster. I just automatically do it two times now because of that.

Same here, occasionally one reset does do the trick but I'm in the habit of resetting twice more often than not.
