During Kellog's side stories he calls him as Metta World Peace aside from that, announcers still refer to him as Artest. To add, the PA announcers call him as Metta World Peace when he scores, fouls someone, etc.

Like Shaq said, "If his mamma named him Ron, I'm calling him Ron".

Kevin Harlan also refers to him as "Number 15" on occasion.

Nope. With the holiday season, I expect they're only just getting back into the swing of things. When an update is on the verge of being released, I'm sure Ronnie will post a note about it on his Twitter.

Ronnie hasn't even checked his Twitter account yet. They've made a new video but they haven't updated their roster.

Different individuals but yeah, not quite the update everyone was hoping for, cool as the trailer is.

The reason why most of us are upset is because we all wanted to start our new Association, My Player and CAL with the new roster update. IMO... Then 2K goes "busy" over the holidays.

The rosters do have problems but even so, they're entitled to a break over the holidays like everyone else. That said, hopefully the new roster will be complete.

No FA signings like Stiemsma, Ivan Johnson, Chris Johnson etc , only second rounders added BUT NOT ALL!!! No Isaiah Thomas ,M.Thompson (CLE) Charles Jenkins.
Newest trades are included , like Speights in Grizzlies or Solomon Jones in Clips .
I'm MAD AT 2k. Chris Johnson is in Portland for a second year now, and they still dont have him in. They have created Isaiah Thomas ( saw his CFs in custom rosters) but they didnt include him in the update! Its a joke , how 2k is treating us this year!

Whats strange they have added D.Hobson whom they had to create from scratch cause he wasnt in the game earlier. Dunno why Tinsley or Hughes arent in the game yet... They are Hobson like ( appeared in earlier games)

Thanks for this. Hobson was already in the game (because as you can see, he has a portrait, so they must have had him in the game already).
And I agree on your opinion of 2k's treatement.

I wouldn't go too hard at 2K just yet, didn't someone mention the guarenteed contract date earlier? For fringe players they may just be waiting for that date because a few players might not make the cut.

That's the reason Ronnie's given. It seems a little sketchy, especially given what EA was able to do with their dynamic DNA updates in recent years, but that's the explanation we've received.

Jeremy Pargo has 2 guaranteed years and he is with Memphis since the begining of the season... also is 6th in nba's rookie lader:

I just hope with this roster as base the patchers will fill the empty spots that 2k didnt fill up.

Yeah, it's puzzling. Perhaps there's more to the story but it's difficult to say without 2K going into a bit more detail in explaining the situation.

I don't know, but I am quite scatisfied with the latest update, I didn't have to high expectations, they added quite a few rookies...
