Im actually pretty disappointed but at the same time not at all surprised that this update isn't even on the official 2k share page in the game... While the consoles have already had a 2nd Official Roster update posted today... as well as a 1.4 patch (Have we even received a single update yet)

Delete all your current roster files and click on reset roster, when you save and go back to the main menu, you should have the real roster...No black arms and Odom is on Mavericks and Artest is Metta World Peace

Hey... this works!

Aside form World Peace and the recent trades, you will notice that the rookies are not anymore user created (where you can edit the names and skin color).

Im not sure about the black arms yet.. but does that mean we have to remove the "rookies black arm" fix that we installed?

i used jimmer fredette as a sample

ok... i replaced his png2135.iff file to the original 2k file and I got black arms... hence not fixed yet.

well, logically, it will not be fixed unless something is replaced in the game (like what a patch should do). roster itself will not fix black arms.

just for the record: this is the December 12th update, the first one.

the last one, from yesterday December 13th has others transfer/rookies, like Kemba Walker and Brandon Knight.

Only the "Signed rookies" are in the roster as the 2K said..
They only Update the ones who are basically signed in the team..
Some rookies are still not signed at the moment.. and this is just 12 / 13 / 11 update.. so let's just wait for a little time..

assuming you got the legit game, you need at least 1 existing saved roster file. then reset the roster, then save it in the existing roster file. it will overwrite it.

the other thing you guys need to do is give the game time to download the roster. If you load it up and go right for the reset roster thing, well, it hasnt worked for me.

I usually load it up, play a game of blacktop or something for a few minutes, then hit reset roster

i think its a zone issue, i haven't been able to get roster update since they started releasing them, did everything imaginable, i even wiped the game off my drive, cleaned registry, nothing worked, i just decided to give it time, but after a few days passed and still no official roster update, i called 2k support, tech said its a issue that some people are experiencing and they havent figured out a work around yet, so unfortunately for some, the roster update isn't working

Just reset your roster from options menu and it will be updated with latest transfers and shoes

I've already done that
