I felt intensity of that fierce dunk all the way from Canada.

Cool. He is one if my favorite players. I just loved those killer crossovers.

First and only time I've ever seen him dunking, at least as far as I can recall.
Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:13 am
Lol at in yo face.
Would that be a tech foul in today's rule?
Sat Oct 22, 2011 9:11 am
Absolutely, I can't imagine they'd let that fly these days.
Sat Oct 22, 2011 10:39 am
That is sad. Look at Charles Barkley taking it like a man and answering back with the superb performance not by fists like kids these days.
Miss the emotions and intensity.

I think the problem is it got a little too out of control with some players taking it a bit too far. Unfortunately the league's reaction has been overly harsh to the point where any kind of reaction, positive or negative, could potentially draw a technical from certain officials.

B-Scal in Italy, 18 points.
And who wants the full 34 minutes of Scal's swag, the full game :
Thu Oct 27, 2011 6:51 am
make no mistake, scal is a beast
also, Rudy wtf?1
Thu Oct 27, 2011 7:12 am
Forget the Bulls, Scal looks really good in green.
1:18 - 1:25 - Larry Bird, nope Brian Scalabrine.
Thu Oct 27, 2011 9:49 am
Ridiculous shot by Rudy.
Thu Oct 27, 2011 10:50 pm
Amazing shot. He was hit hard but somehow he threw it up while falling.

Should be HOFer Danny Schayes carrying the Magic in the playoffs against the Heat to tie the series, just check out his sweet pass to that bum Penny at 0:35.

Loving Pippen's dunks. The special thing about Pippen's poster dunks is in my opinion that he
1. is the guy dunking on someone else. In today's NBA poster dunks often are a result of dumb defending by big man scrubs who come to help way too late and thus get posterized. In this vid, you can see that in 6 or 7 of the 10 dunks the defender was in a great position to block that dunk but Scottie just said "I go right over you". (Brent Barry was maybe the only real dumb try in this top 10 vid)
2. Scottie is posterizing great player. I mean, as good as some poster dunks were in the past, it's a difference if D-Wade goes over Varejao or Rose over Dragic, whilst Scottie dunks on Mourning, twice on Ewing, on Dale Davis, Charles Barkley and Charles Smith.
Oh and another thing: how great was the NBA in terms of physical play at that time: that Charles Smith foul would have definitely caused a fight and a technical or maybe even an ejection in today's game.

Agreed. The fact that players are challenging the dunk, going for the block and not just trying to draw a charge, makes them all the more awesome. Much better than seeing players scoot over at the last minute, take the hit and get the call. And when players succeeded in getting the block, that looked awesome as well.

Looks like they had some fun making that.
