Eh, of course you'd be setting for clips. I'd rather see post players post.

I got interviewed by the Suns, Rockets, and 76ers. I got drafted by the Suns, and then they traded everyone on the team except for Dudley and Nash. Somehow that's how we acquired Brandon Roy, David Lee, Samuel Dalembert, Corey Maggette, and Marcus Thornton.

Next season, they signed Lamar Odom to a $10 multi-year deal and then three days into the season, they traded him AND A FIRST ROUND PICK for Dominique Jones and Corey Brewer.

Averaging 14 ppg, 10 rpg, and 2.3 bpg (league-leading).

Nash
Thornton
Dudley
Lee
Me.

I wonder if the trades are happening because Phoenix is building around you as their center piece. Dudley got traded for Okafor in mine, and we got Marc Gasol, too. Grant Hill was also traded. It will be interesting if this continues every season.

My team just traded Nash+Brooks for Al Horford.

Pretty solid deal but there is a freaking log jam at the PF/C position.

We have Frye/Warrick/Gortat/Lopez/Horford

I got drafted by the Jazz , 6'3 athletic PG 64ovr. I requested for a trade to the lakers, hoping I would play with kobe bryant, and since derek fisher is getting old I will be a starter immediately.
The jazz granted my trade, trading me and favors, for kobe bryant and lamar odom. :(

You will definitely be a starter and a star now

After unlocking 10 greatest games decided to play again My Player. Skip a few games not knowing Devin Harris and Okur got traded to the Magic for a washed up Gilbert Arenas :shake:. Then after playing against the Lakers and winning, they traded Paul Millsap for Paul George :facepalm2:

My first My Player was an Athletic SF drafted by the Bucks but because of horrible trade logic, I ended up quitting that player out of frustration. Found the hex edited file for turning off trades on here and made a new My Player.

This time I focused on being more of a Paul Pierce type player rather than being athletic. Had a fantastic game in the Rookie Showcase and landed interviews from the Bucks, Suns, and Warriors. I felt I was a great fit for all three of them so I told them all that I would love to play for them. Eventually ended getting picked by the Warriors, which was my preferred team all along. I love the idea of playing with two other young stars like Curry and Ellis and being able to be the missing piece in a playoff run.

So far, I really like how My Player has turned out. I'm averaging about 23 ppg on 52% shooting as well as 2 RPG, 2 APG, and 38% from three. I've done a good job of playing within the flow of my offense and its gotten me the starting position (although David Lee's ankle injury helped a bit). The Warriors are 11-3 and are in first place in the Western Conference and are looking to be the newest break out team in the league. With trades off, I've been able to play next to Ellis and Curry without fear of them being traded away for no reason. Hopefully if things work out, I can get the Warriors their first championship in decades.

Some of my favorite plays so far:

Clutch layup to seal the game and a 7 game winning streak:

Chase down block on Kobe:

My Knicks are in the second place in the East, Miami is two games better. We're now at 14-7 after a tough loss to the T-Wolves which snapped our 12 game winning streak...

Had a pretty good game against the Spurs but BS results. Was leading until the fourth when the AI can't seem to miss, hit a game-tying three pointer. On the way to overtime until Tony Parker hits a jumpshot with the hands on his face :facepalm2:

lot of things happened on my MP mode. Trades here and there and then Jrue Holiday is now our starting point guard, and made stephen curry as backup. To think that curry is our most consistent player on the team. hehe. 12-16 standing, 3 game losing streak.

C- Al thornton
PF- taj gibson
SF- ME
SG - igoudala
PG- holiday

6th man - curry

Averages: 16.2pts 2.4reb, 2.2 asst, 1.8stls, 1.1blk, 46.1% FG, 44.7% 3pt fg

Opted to quit my old My Player where I was on a scrubby Blazers' team where the entire offense was me taking pull-up threes. Was fun gunning for Wilt's record every game, but it got old.

So I decided to start a new player in the exact same mold once 2K released the rookies. White 3pt specialist with very high usage and no athleticism. Phoenix took both me and Markieff Morris with the 13th pick and I've been the sixth man pretty much ever since.

Leading the team (and all rookies) with 17.5 PPG and also 2nd on the team in assists with 5 a game. Unfortunately, my shooting averages look something like 34% | 31% | 75%... Nonetheless, we've won 4 out of 5 and are nearly up to .500. Hopefully my efficiency (and more wins) will come once my guy no longer sucks at everything but chucking threes.

They should have had importable draft classes in my player mode, too. I really don't want to start from scratch. What difficulty are you playing on, Lamrock?

The trades in My Player make it absolutely insufferable if you don't use a 3rd party app to disable CPU trading. Unfortunately, I didn't discover those till the Wizards traded away John Wall/Nick Young.

On another note, how are you guys racking up assists in My Player? The only way I get them is in transition and occasionally I will find an open man under the basket, but that always runs a huge risk of a player facing the opposite direction tipping my pass into a turnover. It's frustrating that my only good outside shooter refuses to shoot open 3's (even when I tell him to shoot), and when he does, he misses wide open 3's. :x

Pdub, I play on Pro. Have been doing better lately, but I still shoot in the 30s almost every game and we're 9-11. Will probably go up to All-Star by in-game January at this rate (I play all the games). I'm looking forward to when My Player is given all of the Association settings. I think the reason it isn't is to prevent cheating, which is lame because My Player is a single player mode.

mantis3, Is the PC version of 2K12 up to date with patches? I started a new one after a 2K patch was supposed to fix it, and thus far, my Suns have stood pat after 20 games (save for a Keith Bogans signing).

To rack up assists, I usually try to find Morris or Gortat in good post position. I don't consistently get them (often will get 8 assists in the first half and none on the second) but it isn't too difficult. I also like to pass it to a 3pt shooter with like 2 seconds on the clock. Bad basketball, but if he makes it, assist for me, if he misses, no negative teammate grade. Mind you, my pass rating is like 75.

Not that I'm aware of. It sounds like it was just forwarded to the QA team.

That's correct. We're still waiting on all the official title updates for the PC version; only the roster updates have come through at this time.
