Can I turn off the retro filter?

Sorry if this is posted somewhere else....I looked and haven't seen addressed yet.

I have a question about the "Old School" filter that's used during the classic teams.....is there a way to turn it off? I enjoy it, but I have an older computer and I've noticed that when the filter is on, my game runs a little slower. I played with Hakeem and the 94 Rockets and it worked fine, but when I played with both Isaiah and Magic (both different filters than Hakeem's), my game ran slower.

Any ideas? I didn't see the option to turn it off in any of the menus, so I'm guessing it would have to be a mod or a hack.

I dont know of any specific file that adds the filter, sorry.

That's ok. Thanks for looking, anyways. You guys always seem to figure everything out eventually, so if you come across it at a later date, please let me know.
