Steam has Euro problems. A common complaint is that they do $1 = €1 pricing, so he'd end up paying the equivalent of about $40.61, while it's much cheaper in other places.

Unless Steam has addressed that issue, that is.

2K11 right now is 30 Euros, thats about 40 bucks right?

So meaning 2K12 pops out, its like 40-50 euros. Thats why I have a price tag issue.

Hopefully, the store copy will be cheaper.

You have to wait for 2K to put it up on any of the download services, not just Steam.

This isn't the fault of Valve, D2D, GamersGate, it's 2K Sports like normal absolutely failing at understanding how to do DD properly.

2K, if they wanted to, could have done just like ZeniMax did with RAGE and had the game up and ready to unlock at midnight. But like last year and the year before they'd rather be incompetent.

Is it true that as a UK/EU based player that I can use something to purchase the game via the US Steam store when released?

Is this legal? Im assuming so as I will be paying with my card, using real details etc

You could always get a USA User to gift you the game.

Aka you would send him money on Paypal then he would gift you the game.

I already did this for a couple of people (with diff games) on the steam forums.

So if you have any friends in USA, Just ask them to do it.

Bastards at gamestop didn't get any pc versions shipped to them. Stuck with 360 version until tomorrow. Last year they actually went to another store to get me one before I got there. Goods luck with my online survey, fellas.

It's not Gamestop's fault, as much as I despise them, I actually reserved it and my copy was the only PC copy. Best Buy and other stores did the same thing, consoles only! If you wanted the PC version it had to be reserved!

Bought!!!! Alongside a great deal for Portal 2 (US$14.99), what a day!!!!

Had no problems buying from Chile, while paying with paypal, even though the release was only for NA. Or am I wrong??
