They won't be available out of the box owing to the lockout, but they will be added via an official patch once the lockout ends. All their data is already in the game ready to go, so we might be able to get creative with the PC version before then.

"Shouldn't matter since you can skip/sim games."

Sure, but there's an issue with simming games. The generated stats for your player will likely be different from what happens when you control him. He might put up 35PPG, 15 RPG, 8 APG in your hands but 20PPG, 10RPG, and 2 APG in sim.

20PPG, 10RPG, 2 APG.

LOL. If would be even worse if you have 50+rating.

If he puts up nearly a triple double when you control him while his sim stats are about half that, you need to change the difficulty to make it harder, rather them complaining about the sim engine.

Since you start with a 60+ rating sim stats should not be too bad. On the other hand which 60 overall player averages 20 or even 35 pts.
But I've to agree to Pdub, if you average 35 pts together with a triple double in your first season game difficulty might just have been too low...

Probably not for the pc, but speculation for the console demo release is 1 to 2 weeks before the full game release.

Does anybody know if there'll be a full All Star Weekend (Dunk Contest and/or 3-Point Shootout) in Association and My Player this year?

It wasn't mentioned in the My Player insight, so probably not.

There comes a point where there's no more tuning the sliders or difficulty. HOF with sliders set to make it as difficult as possible to score without totally stopping your team mates from scoring is a limit.

Sounds great. Could easily be the best game of the year.
The My Player mode was my favourite part of the 2K11 series and now they improved it so it will be even better. :applaud:

How many minutes per game are you guys playing? I want to play 12 min quarters because the game feels more real then and also because of my stats but it becomes boring after some time.

I also prefer to play 12 minute quarters as often as possible. Since NBA 2K has in-game saves, there's always that option if you're short on time.

When you pause the game, there is an option to save and quit.
