That is not what is causing the crashes. The number of files have nothing to do with the crashes. I have to do what the database calls for. Now that said it will be done and done right with no crashes
We will not overwrite the NBA files, there are alot of gamers that play the NBA. There is a way of numbering without overwriting the NBA files. The way I have the numbers now, there is no skip.

The way I will have the database, we will be able to move the teams we want in our seasons, and or associations. We appreciate all your work that you have been doing. I do want to see the rating system you have. It beats copying from College Hoops 2K8. When we release this file I'm working on, there will be a brand new install, and it will not overwrite any files.

Believe me when I say it will work, IT WILL WORK


Like I said there will be a whole complete different layout for everything.

Vlad is on vacation right now, him and I will be working more testing. NBA 2K12 game for NCAA 2011-2012 mod will be awesome to play and will be alot better.

I realized you may be talking about portrait or logo files when "replacing NBA art". Those logo and portrait maps I posted of those files will allow you to only overwrite hidden portraits or portraits of the medical staff no one needs instead of NBA players. Same with the logo files, there are plenty of unused logos.

At any rate, the best solution is using the in-game renderer for the menu portraits (like baseball has done) and then instead of having each individual team have their own logo, just have the conference logos so Duke and UNC would share the same menu logo.

wow this mod is crazy (in a good way) do u guys have any news on 2k12? like can all this be transfered to nba 2k12? if not than that would suck... but if you can it would really be time consuming #thumbsup

Update on Patch #6

Patch number 6 will be nothing more than a few more Arenas and a lot of CF's for the 100 plus Team Roster...(canceled all other edits, because it's a waste of time on this roster file)

Final Patch which will be Association friendly and the final roster, will have full ratings, shoes, accessories, fixed team colors, including new NCAA Headbands and socks, a lot of edits and optional Portraits, globals and more! for the available teams. (more info on that after Patch 6 release on Wednesday)
