He got his nickname Sleepy while was attending Oak Hill Academy because he used to sleep a lot and his sleepy eyes. Chapter V: The Hangover Pt.1

Local bar in downtown Los Angeles

GK, "KID! Hey KidJustin! Over here!"

KJ walks over to the bar where George is sitting

GK, "Bartender, two beers."

GK, "Common man you gotta catch up."

KJ, "Haha, alright man...you better open up a tab cause I need a bunch of drinks!"

[..]

KidJustin and George keep ordering drinks and talking and laughing

[..]

KJ, "So what are you doing in LA? Shouldn't you be up in Chicago working on the draft stuff or what not?"

GK, "Haha, I'm actually in LA cause I needed to take care of some business."

KJ, "Oh yea, like what?"

George's phone begins to ring, "Hold on, I got to take this..."

George walks away, leaving KidJustin at the bar by himself. Just then the breaking news on the television comes on. It is a report on the investigation of the bombing at the Clippers training facility.

KidJustin watches it closely so try and find out more what is happening. The news anchor says they have an amateur eye-witness cellphone video of a mysterious figure leaving the facility. It is unknown who the person is. The only description is he is a white man.

Just as KidJustin is staring at the television to try and get a better look, a hand grabs him on the shoulder

Thierry Tirieux, "KidJustin! How have you been?"

KJ, "What are you doing here?" as he brushes Thierry's hand off

TT, "George invited me, so I just flew in on my private jet a little while ago."

KJ, "Right..."

TT, "Look, I know we had stuff last season...but the way I see it. We all got what we want. Everything is all even now."

KJ, "Uh huh..."

TT, "So I say we start over and just let the past go...What do you say?"

KJ, "Hm.."

TT, "You haven't told anyone anything did you?"

KJ, "Naw...I just kept it to myself. But if we are going to drop all the shit that happened before...I guess I can work with that."

TT, "Haha! I knew you were a cool American."

KJ, "But I will keep my eye out for you..."

GK comes back, "Thierry! You made it! Bartender! More drinks!"

Unknown location

KidJustin wakes up very groggy in an unknown hotel room, alone.

KJ groggy, "Oh man...ohhh...what happen? Where am I?"

KJ checks his things, his wallet, his watch, his phone...it is all still there

KJ looks down, "Where the fuck is my left shoe?"

KJ stumbles out of the hotel room and makes his way into the lobby...he finds guest services

KJ, "Where am I? How did I get here? Who was with me?" as he almost collapses knocking down the brochures on the table

Guest Services yelling angrily in Chinese

KJ, "What? I don't understand you?"

KJ begins to walk out of the hotel and his phone rings

KJ, "Hello?"

AR, "Where are you!? It's almost time for the draft!! We've been trying to contact you! You missed the team plane! We are in New Jerseys already! You better get here and fast!"

KJ, "Andy? What?"

AR, "Yes its me...Andy...you better find a way to get here or else!"

KJ, "What day is it...I need a taxi...TAXI!"

A taxi rolls up and KidJustin gets it, "Where to bub?"

KJ, "LAX...and fast!"

Taxi, "Are you kidding me? LAX as in downtown LA?"

KJ, "Yea?"

Taxi, "Have you looked outside buddy...We in Jersey..."

KJ, "What???" as he exits the taxi and right across the street is the Prudential Center.

KJ quickly runs across and enters the arena where he finds Andy Roeser.

AR, "Damn that was fast...where is your shoe?"

KJ out of breathe, "I don't know...."

AR, "Nevermind, we got to get you cleaned up and in the room. We need to get ready for the draft!"
