Background
Wow, I can't believe I am finally posting this. I started working on a "Men's League" mod in 2006 yet it was never released because of my work on NBA Street mods, lack of knowledge of generating CAP faces (Live PC series), or lack of proper roster tools (2K9 & 2K10). But this year was different, the REDitor is nearly perfect for this kind of mod with the only thing lacking is proper support of CAT jersey coloring. Allowing me to randomly generate headshapes, hair styles, hair colors, and giving me access to the CAP and MP rating templates is the only reason why I have a playable "Men's League" mod this year.

Premise
The goal of this mod is to recreate the unpredictability of a real life "Men's League". Removing known players and their skills require you to adapt to randomly generated players mixed together into teams.

Nice idea. I have been trying to work on something similar. I have been tweaking the nba 2k10 street mod for a bout a year now. i didnt want to waste time with the 2k11 version because you cant use the same headshapes. i have created people i know and even females. I'm waiting for 2k12 to be released on pc to finish up my project. But seeing this makes me want to go get 2k11 for pc. I only have it on 360 b/c i have 2k10 on pc. Keep up the good work

that's the only way I role. Anything that overwrites get put in an "optional" folder, and right now that is the T-Shirt accessory texture.

tgsogood, about the shoes, yea, it is that simple, but I'm trying to come up with good colors for the shoes. Also, I'd love to see screens of your "females" in the game, because I've attempted that a few times (in this mod even) but gave up. And if you wait for the full version of the REDitor, this mod is going to be ported to the 360. It will not have the soon-to-be recolored gyms and the custom uniforms, but it will have the logos and everything else nice and proper since I'm using "hidden" or unused artwork already on the disc.

And thanks to everyone else, TBH I was kinda thinking this might flop as an idea, but I'm glad that I'm not the only one intrigued by this.




That said, this mod is going to undergo a huge change. After adding those jerseys I spent hours on converting and sprucing up, I just don't enjoy the "feel" of the mod anymore. The premise will remain, but this mod is going to get split into 2 separate rosters. I'll explain when I work on it some more.

This is a nice mod Jao. Except for the fact you don't have Dirk as a coach. Maybe add that to like Dirk Nowitzki's Fadaways

Dirk is actually Yao's assistant. He was the head coach but Yao's face yelling is a lot funnier. Also, the team names I used are based on the unused logos in the game, not something made up.

Essentially this mod is going to be thrown into arenas with the player coaches, I'm just trying to figure out a way to not have full crowds.

Then there will be a Blacktop Revitalization mod that replicates the pick-up nature that this mod was going to originally replicate.

And finally I'm going to get the All Pro Basketball mod released (hopefully).

This mod was quickly becoming a part of my APB mod, but rather than axing it completely, I am throwing it out for you guys to test and give suggestions on.

• My plan is to do something with the jerseys (I havent decided on what, need help)
• Reskin the arenas (should I stick with the small crowds of the summer circuit and blacktop courts? or switch to the empty attack athletics and practice gym?)
• Add Association support

So please give me feedback on it while I work on some other projects (and life) so I can come back to this before 2K12. Download is at the bottom of the first post.
