Spurs lose 2nd straight, 74-82 to Thunder
November 7,2011 8PM PST


The AP Reports: The San Antonio Spurs got their 2nd straight loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder in their 1st road trip. After naming "Player of the Week" last week, Kevin Durant scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds and 5 steals, James Harden added 20 points with four steals and 4 assist, Russell Westbrook contributed 15 points, Serge Ibaka was active blocking the ball last night he has 9 big blocks to sent the Spurs in to their 2nd straight loss.

Tim Duncan has a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards, their star player Manu Ginobili was struggling beyond the arc he attempted to shoot the ball 7 times with nothing, Tony Parker added 11 points of his own and dishes eight assists.

Player of the Game-- James Harden

Next Game-- Toronto Raptors will be visiting the Thunder on November 12.

The AP Reports: Oklahoma City Thunder lost another home court advantage game against the Toronto Raptors. Kevin Durant and James Harden lead their team in scoring with the help of Russell Westbrook until the 4th quarter, the team had an early celebration but the Raptors didn't lose hope and tied the game at 88-88 with 1:53 left on the clock.The big man of the Raptors, Andrea Bargnani buried a long 3Pt shot to take the lead 91-88. Kevin Durant and the team tried to overcome the lead but the defense of the visiting team was too intense to missed a 3Pt shot from Harden. After that miss, Leandro Barbosa drained another 3Pt shot resulting for the Thunder to lost the game.

The Stat: Kevin Durant scored 29 points and nailed three basket from the 3pt line, James Harden had 22 points including 5 baskets beyond the arc, the athletic point guard Russell Westbrook added 14 points and dishes 5 assists, Perkins grabbed 8 rebounds and Ibaka had 9 boards of his own.

James Johnson had 26 points with six rebounds, Amir Johnson with double-double 11 points 15 boards, and Andrea Bargnani added to the scoreboard 18 points with nine rebounds.

Player of the Game: James Johnson


Next Game: The Thunder will playing their last home game with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The AP Reports: No more Mr. Nice Guy for the visiting Memphis Grizzlies(2-3) as they lost against the home team Oklahoma City Thunder(2-2) last night. The Grizzlies led the game 86-85 with 14.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter when the Thunder played isolation for Kevin Durant and nailed his devastating 3 point shot to take the lead 86-88 with 2 seconds left on the clock. The Grizzlies called timeout to make their last play, but the active hands of Nate Robinson who deflected the inbound ball that results to a turnover, the Grizzlies recorded their third lost in this season.

The Stat: Russell Westbrook scored 10 points with 4 rebounds and four assists, Serge Ibaka tallied 9 points and grabbed 8 boards, Kendrick Perkins added 8 points and 8 rebounds.

For the Grizzlies, Michael Conley scored 14 and dishes 7 assists and grabbing 5 rebounds, despite of a Bruised Hip injury Rudy Gay scored 13 and almost a double-double for him with 9 rebounds, Sam Young added to the scorecard with 8 points.

Next Game: Oklahoma City Thunder will be playing their only first of straight five games road trip against the Philadelphia 76ers(4-1) on November 16.
