The Letting Off Steam Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I remember my buddy's family suffering from some fever after getting back from a trip to Thailand. He told me he thought it was water and perhaps the food. They got better in a week or so though. Hope your bro will be ok, kobesux.

And... What's with all these hacking these days. I had my paypal account suspended because some asshole tried to hack it. WTF

Unnecessary.

The money's finally showed up on my statement. Two debits of $33, then a return from Microsoft of $33. So I'm down $33. However, my account balance is still $66 higher than my available funds, which means someone must have somehow got another $66 out or something, for a total of $99 lost.

The second lot of $66 failed to go through, so I'm back to only being out $33. It's a whole different process to get that back, though.

My brother's finally home from hospital, too. So all around, fairly good news.

Still sucks that you're out $33, but hopefully you can get that sorted. At least you didn't lose another $66. Good news about your bro too, hope he's feeling better soon.

Be bloody nice if he is, he's not gone back to filling up the IQ2 hard drive with Jersey Shore, Tool Academy, and that sort of shit, and instead of watching it opting to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians and Paris Hilton's My New BFF, thus preventing me from recording too much (he's got 54% of the hard drive full as is) or watching anything. And the movie channels are free this week.

Ugh this summer feels so jam packed. Full time classes plus working as well. The only off day of the week goes with doing homework. Now three exams coming up next week. Atleast this 4 week class will end by next Sunday.

Nothing like getting a flat tire on the interstate after 10 shitty hours spent at work, really sets the tone for the week.

Why the fuck are you paying to see Transformers 3 in the first place? Were the first two not enough warning?

Just read about the movie in Wikipedia is enough to convince me not to watch it.

I never even heard about it until last week. They should have waited a while. Wikipedia has the entire storyline in place of "The Plot."

Dragon Age 2 is a proof that the evil that is EA has taken over BioWare. :( I fear for Mass Effect 3.

But, no IMAX or 3D cinema for me. :( Only those near schools.

i may have spoke too soon for dragon age 2. despite the lag in the cutscenes, the story eventually got better and graphics have improved from origins. as for duke nukem, it still sucks.

I wish I was able to sleep. Been sleeping at 3AM, even though I'd much rather be sleeping right now. I'm a fucking mess in the morning these days, I really hope this gets sorted out before college starts. :(

Sounds like college to me. Get used to it. Best part is you wont even be doing homework, just dealing with drama with friends.
