During Washington Wizards general manager Ernie Grunfeld’s press conference earlier today, he announced that the Wizards will switch their official color scheme to red, white, and blue for the 2011-12 NBA season. The team’s current colors are white, blue, gold, and black.

Here’s an unofficial look at what red/white/blue Wizards jerseys might look like. In my opinion, it would certainly be an improvement over the team’s current gold/black alternate jerseys.
