Playing the singleplayer campaign of CoD: Black Ops right now, and I gotta say I'm not that impressed. I thought Modern Warfare 2 was much better than its predecessor, but Black Ops is far from great, you can see Infinity Ward didn't develop that one. The scripting is back to how it was in the 1st Modern Warfare, and you can spend fucking hours killings swarms of enemies without advancing in the story at all. It's forcing you once again to play a kamikaze at some point by having to rush towards an invisible waypoint, and then the enemies stop spawning by miracle. This is retarded.

Okay, I just finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. What the hell is that ending all about?

Don't even try.

Yup, looks about right.
The Vietnam level is just fucking ridiculous. After hours of shooting the never-ending swarms of Viets, you realize that you're better off going Rambo-style and try to find and pass the invisible line that's synonym of "no more enemies"...
EDIT: never thought there would be a use for a Call of Duty "walkthrough", but I just wanted to find what the exact spot is to keep the enemies from respawning in the level above mentioned, and I thought that this stuff from IGN was pretty sad:
"Defend" the hill
The term "defend" is a misnomer, since you're essentially tasked to either stem the tide of enemies coming in, or (somehow) get past them to the next tunnel (atop the ashened hill). Since Hardened and Veteran will not let you proceed very far without stopping enemy respawns (especially with the rate being so high for this zone), you need to stop the spawns to proceed safely.

Exactly my thought, I was like "Really? did I spend 25-30 hours on this for an ending that cannot even be comprehended unless you're on LSD?".

I understand the idea of cliff hangers, but that of Brotherhood is too much. It's exactly like:
*Juno controls Desmond*
*Everyone freezes*
*Desmond stabs Lucy*
*They both fall down*
*credits*
Ubisoft and their conspiracies.

Finally beat Assassin's Creed 2. Now on to Red Dead Redemption.

Definitely a confusing ending on AC Brotherhood.I expected a far better ending than this.
Now playing Portal 2 on PC. Finished the first Portal four days ago(which was really really small in terms of duration, but loved it) and the sequel so far gives me the same and even better impression. I love the puzzles and of course the voice over is HILARIOUS!! I think I have never listened to such clever lines in a video game...

Damn right. Can come out with different theories on what happened, who's who, what's what. But really, too much what the fuck compared to AC2.

anybody play fifa 11?? that's all my roommates and i have been playing for the last month and i keep losing

Ran through Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I thought it was ok, if not boring at times. After completing all the possible endings you get a password to unlock a RAR file in the game's directory with some content from when the game was being developed. I'm disappointed after seeing it and all the concepts that didn't make it into the final game.

I do. I stopped playing PES because of it.

i have problems scoring when i get a breakaway and approach the box 1 on 1 with the goalie. also a lot of headers i head straight into the ground. help me!
Tue May 10, 2011 6:54 am
The key (I find) when scoring on a breakaway is not to hold the sprint button until you get there and just shoot. Keep your distance from the goalie, and let go of the sprint button when you're nearing the half circle. Try to aim where the goalie is not; when a goalie charges out in a 1-on-1 situation, he usually shades to one side, leaving the other side vulnerable, aim there. Hope that helps.
As for headers, don't know if the FIFA 11 controls have changed from FIFA 10, but they work the same way as shooting. In a corner kick situation, depending on how close you are to the goal, hitting a header to the floor is smart so it can elude the goalie.
Tue May 10, 2011 6:57 am
That's probably because you're gay.
In breakaways aim to the sides, or do a finesse shot. Don't try to rip off the goalie's head. With the headers, try to get a better position to get a better shot.
EDIT:
Here are some tips that you might find useful.
