Semi-serious one since I'm going through bands entire discographies while I do stupid poli sci stats (which are useless unlike NBA stats*):
Not my favorite (even on that album), but maybe the definitive Saves the Day song. Plus I like the video so it gets the nod over the rest on that album.
This band and some others have made me think about a "band that evolved with you" thread. I might make it even though it's embarrassing and self-centered. Something to be said in this case for the airy positivism of 1998's Can't Slow Down and 2007's Under the Board hard cynicism...and someday they'll release Daybreak. I have other examples, but they're not related to this one.
*I'm 100% serious about this by the way. Ask me in some other thread.
